“Excellent value and food is very good!”
Great Little Sushi Joint. My sister and I are HUGE fans of this little sushi joint. The staff there is fantastic; our waitresses have become our friends. They take the time to know customers' names and remember what they enjoy eating. They also make great suggestions of new dishes to try. We are so impressed by the service and quality of sushi that we recommend this little gem to all of our friends and family.
shameonsushi. This place is not a very nice shishi joint. There are other restorants that will give you better food. I went and sat at the sushi bar and it took a while to get our sushi. The fish did not taste fresh but rather mushy. The environment in not nice eather and i feels crowded since it's so little. i have been to at least 15 japanese restorants in houston and this one is my least favorite.
I would think twice. We went there for lunch with a group of 8 people. It took an hour and a half, the entire lunch crowd came and went as we waited. The soups and salads were delivered at different times. All of our meals showed up randomly and SLOWLY. It took forever to pay the bill. After separating the checks, they came back to demand another $7. Then we got our cards back to find, they had automatically added a %18 gratuity. Never again.
Fantastic Lunch Specials. This little japanese hut is a bit hidden in the village. It is a great destination for lunch. I go there about once a week. You get an amazing combination of food (bento box) for about $8-$9 including soup, salad, and 3 areas of japanese food that you can pick from. Excellent value and food is very good!
yummy sushi!. When a friend of mine told me she loved this place, I thought she was referring to Cafe Japon on Kirby, which I am not at all fond of. When she explained that this was a different place - on Times - I agreed to check it out. It was great! The soy bean thingies were addictive, and the rolls and handrolls were some of the best I've ever had. They also have fresh fatty tuna sashimi, which I'm a sucker for... Try it!
yum!. had the catepillar roll and 2 fresh salmon sushi. under $12. delicious. the wasabi leaves the perfect amount of stinging sensation in the back of your head.
