Nice atmosphere. The atmosphere looks modern and artsy. It is peaceful place without any stressful waiting period. The dumplings and edamame are awesome.

Delicious, convenient, friendly, and affordable!. We've been Cafe Chino fans for decades, starting with their West University location. The consistency in service, menu options and ambience provides a familiar and comfortable dining experience - lunch or dinner. The dumplings and General Tso's chicken are our favorites (and best in town!). Eddie does a fantastic job running the restaurant and Chef May has extraordinary talent in the kitchen. We love the family-feel and always pick Cafe Chino when we have Hunan cravings. The new location in the Greenway Plaza area is very convenient with easy access from 59 and 610. It has an open-ambience feel and a snazzy bar. When we don't find the dine in, take-out is easier than ever.

BEST CHINESE FOOD IN HOUSTON!!. I live near the village and have always loved chinese food. I found cafe chino one day and my family and friends decided to order out from there. We ordered the Sweet and sour chicken, crab wontons, sesame chicken, and some pork dumplings. Everything was amazing and we loved it! We order out from there 2 times a week at least! It is closed now so we've been chinese food-less for a while! we miss you cafe chino come back!

GREAT FOOD NICE OWNER. I eat at Cafe Chino often. They are moving so they are not open currently, which disappoints me.

They will re-open in September and I hope to be one of the first to experience their great food at the new location.

Edward, the owner, is very congenial. (sp)

Please re-open ASAP!

This place has it all!. I took my dinner club Eight Friends Out to this hidden place in the village and had a great experience! Great service, great food in a lovely setting, at a great price. Some members of my club said they only eat Chinese here! I could see and taste why--Eddie is a fabulous host, and the food was very tasty. The homemade desserts were awesome to behold and even better to eat! Best of all was the wonderful aroma when I walked into the place! I wanted to chow down that very minute! I would go back in a heartbeat!

A masterpiece. This is one of the best restaurants in Houston, period. Eddie Chan (the chef/owner) and his entire staff work tirelessly to serve some of the best Chinese food you will ever have in your life. For a special treat try the seared Chilean sea bass. Incidentally, the background music is soothing and elegant.
