Great place to shop!. Lovely store! Great location! Not far from the Domain at Kirby. If you are looking for a unique outfit for a dressy even or a casual outfit- you are sure to find something here! You just gotta find a good parking spot!

Check It Out. This store offers unique brands of tops, pants, and jeans, and features myriad local (Houston, Austin) jewelry designers. You pay a premium for their merchandise, and for some items, it's worth the splurge. Keep an eye out for their sales. You can get some great bargains. I recently bought a pair of Linda Segal pants on sale for $32 (originally $128).

The staff (Alan, Karen) are very helpful and not over-bearing.

Unique Style, Great Service. We have been customers for over a decade, and this is our "go to" place for the fashionable part of our wardrobes. Thanks to J. Hampton, we look good and feel good when we go out. The staff are very helpful -they really care about what looks good on us, and make great suggestions about clothing that we might not have initially thought to try. It's like having a personal shopper!

RACISM at J.Hampton - BE AWARE!!!!!!!!!!!. I went to park in front of the J.Hampton place of business in order for my friend to purchase a pair of jeans from this store. She went to shop inside the store and I waited in front. The owner of the store quickly rushed out and began to verbally assault me by insisting that he would call the cops and have me towed for parking in front of his store. I informed him that my friend was inside purchasing a pair of jeans and that when she was finished we would leave. Four times he patronized me and told me that "my kind" were not permitted at his place of business and that the cops would not be as nice as he was. I assumed he was not making reference to my obvious Mexican-American heritage, being that he was I opted to inform my friend and leave. When I walked into the store I informed her about the verbal assault and opted to leave his establishment under great emotional duress. He continued to shout that "we" leave his place of business and not return. These are the facts as they happened.

A men's and women's boutique chock-a-block with European labels for her and a full range of domestics for him.. In Short
Set just a few stores down from Urban Outfitters and Gap, it would be easy to assume this boutique focused on the college crowd. Until you go inside, that is. The right side of the store is devoted to the workingman, with Jhane Barnes sport jackets, Tommy Bahama khakis and Donald J. Pliner lace-up shoes. The left, always the more creative side, focuses on the woman at play with sexy French and Italian labels.
