What Our Expert Scouts Say

Croissant-Brioche
September 11, 2012

an adorable, french-country inspired cafe. The menu is small, but executed seamlessly. The croissant is so buttery and flaky, the perfect vehicle for their sandwiches. They also have two cases filled with mouthwatering pastries and desserts. Got a cappuccino to go and was surprised to find chocolate shavings on top, nice touch!

Bad customer service. I did not have a good experience at this place, staff were flakey and unattentive. I ordered a drink and quiche - after waiting 20 minutes I inquired where my food and drink was - and the order had never been placed - staff stood around talking and were not attentive to there job. Very badly run!

Best Pastries in Town. I live about three streets up from Croissant Brioche, and take my kids there every Saturday morning. The apple danish is the best in town, along wiht outstanding quiche (all at a very low price) Not too crowded.

Cozy European-style cafe known for cappuccino and affordable lunch specials.. In Short
Tables strewn with newspapers invite diners to sit and linger over coffee or a light lunch. The bakery's wood-burning stone oven turns out some of Houston's tastiest baguettes, as the largely European clientele can attest to. The menu consists of salads, quiche, soups and sandwiches. Coffee drinks (with free refills) are standouts. Take home some of the cafe's fresh-baked pastries, cakes or chocolate croissants.
