“guess losing a customer is less expensive than replacing a 500.00 suit.”
Do Not Use - Zero Customer Service attitude.
1st experience: took them over 20 minutes to locate my items that were "done" 2 days ago. Only 4 out of the 5 items dropped over are done.
2nd experience: Peacoat looked more dirty and full of lints then when I first dropped it off. Wondered what was done to "clean" it. Other white jacket ended up with black stains on the sleeves.
Customer service (lack of): instead of trying to work with me to resolve dis-satisfaction, all 3 staff behind the counter try to justify the sub standard outcome.
Awful - do not use. They lost a pair of my pants and I had to search their back rack where I found them. A few weeks later, they lost a custom made shirt and a cashmere sweater and refused totake responsibility. Unless you had your ticket with you, they refused to look for clothes - absolutely the worst dry cleaner experience I have ever had.
Lost Expensive Pants. They lost an expensive pair of pants. They refused to even apologize for losing my pants and causing me inconvenience. I will never to to this cleaners again.
Does not honor own coupons. Refused to honor a ten dollar gift certificate that I had. Was told that they will only honor it if I present it with the laundry. I asked what different does it make and the coupon doesn't specify. Then they said they could not take 10 dollars off my 25 dollar bill because I didn't dry clean all of my laundry, although it didn't say anywhere on the coupon since it was really a ten dollar gift certificate. They came up with excuse after excuse and refused to honor their own advertisement. Extremely unprofessional place.
Never Use this Cleaners. I was too a loyal customer of over 2 years here. I dropped off a suit to get dry cleaned for a Christmas party I have Saturday night and they ripped a hole in my pants and claimed it was my fault. I, from bad experiences in the past, thouroughly check my dry cleaning before taking it in to the cleaners. I know for 100% certain there was no hole. I guess losing a customer is less expensive than replacing a 500.00 suit. I will never use this cleaners again and I reccommend no one else do either.
Editorial Review. Speedy dry cleaning service caters to southwest Houston customers with extended hours and pick-up only service available on Sunday.
Lee's Spotty Laundry.
I was a customer for about 10 years. Last week I was told by Mubarak (the boss) that he would no longer do my laundry. He said that I could only have my shirts dry cleaned. The reason being that when they do laundry sometimes they get oil spots on the shirts. Mubarak explained that it is in the water and there is nothing they can do about it. He said that he could no longer redo my shirts when they get spots on them from their cleaning process. He said that they have to dry clean them to remove the spots, and it was too expensive for him. They still offer laundry service to other people, as long as they do not complain about the spots. I guess it was cheaper to get rid of a loyal customer instead of solving the problem. I will miss the ladies who work there, they were always friendly and helpful.
I should thank Mubarak, since he refused to do my laundry, I found a new laundry that does not put spots in my shirts. 11/06
