Not So Punctual. Got a call this morning from Midtown Auto, and they took the time to explain why the shop was closed on Saturday, which was understandable, it was nice to hear from someone that actually cares enough to read and respond to reviews, will be trying them again, he also offered to pay for my oil change for my inconvenience. :)

Houston's Best Auto Repair. Excellent service! This is a very busy auto repair establishment - so expect a little wait. However the repair prices are competitive.

A God Send. Midtown Auto Service helped me and my family this Christmas. I applied for some assistance this year for toys,clothes, and of course car repairs from a Christian radio station. The Giving Tree, is a program that I've heard over the radio for years but I never needed the service because I had a job and the wife had a job. But, after a downturn about 6 months ago neither of us had a job due to layoffs. I'm a proud man who has never asked for a handouts, I've worked all my life even as a teenager I've had many odd jobs. The last thing I am is lazy. Mikey, at Midtown Auto Service was more than gracious to fix my car and give me some money to hold me down so I could buy some presents. Why, he did this I don't know? All I know is I'm so grateful and ashamed at the same time. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

BEST IN TOWN!. I am very pleased with the work Mikey and his staff preformed on both of my cars. I took them my wife car and he located the problem, and didnt mind telling me about ways to save me money. He was very honest so I decided to bring my SUV in just recently. He located the problem in about 15 mins. and it was fixed with in an hour. Funny thing is I have been dealing with this problem since I got the truck, I just recently got worst so I took it to the best. I dont know how I could have not gotten this fixed sooner.

Honest, professional service. They always do a professional job. They treat you like people not wallets. Best of all, they don't fabricated car problems that you "have to fix now" just to make more money. Please visit them before you spend a ton of money at the dealer. Your mind will be at ease at Midtown Auto.

Most Honest People in Car Repair. I went in to Midtown Auto Service because my a/c is not working. The staff was the most friendly and professional I've ever met in an auto service place. They ran a diagnostic on my car and unfortunately found out they could not get all of the information for the model of my vehicle. They were pretty sure they knew what was wrong but could not give me a diagnostic report. Instead of trying to sell me on the fix, they did not charge me for the diagnostic and recommended I go some place else to verify what they suggested was wrong. The owner said he does not want to gamble with my money. I was truly impressed by their honesty and professionalism. I would go back.

Flooded Honda. What can i say that the other reviews hasn't already said. Mikey is very competent and helpful. He assured me that my old bess would be fine and driveable afterwards and he was right. In fact, it's driving better now than before. I found Mikey through the Channel 2 link and saw at least four or five tv interview clips on his business. I knew at that time, this is the guy to come too. He sounded very sharp and spoke very eloquently on tv. I received from him a great service and a reasonable price.

Pleasantly Delighted. I was referred here by Angie's List. If you don't know what that is it's a paid subscription in finding good plumbers,electricians,doctors and etc. So, thats how I found this shop. It was ranked highly by others who have used his services. I, also have enjoyed his services. he was pleasant,couteous and punctual.

Tried to resolve all issues. I had a big problem with my car and I'm afraid had even bigger problems with my car after sending here. It was an Audi (which agreed are high maintenance cars) but car was driven in and after several hundred dollars was returned to me on back of flatbed truck. That said, and after a lot of 'discussion' Mikey courteously returned all money paid to him and I took my car to a specialized auto repair shop for Audi.

They really know how to repair the tough problems. My bussiness has about 5%-10% income from auto repair works. We basically sell auto parts. Our mechanics are not certified, but they do lot's of repair and do better than an average mechanic. Well, I had a Infinity couldn't find why the engine stops while driving. Asked mechanic near by, but could not help. I found Mikey at Midtown assured me they are really good on finding the tough problems. The facitily is about thirty mintues away, but it was worth it. Mikey was absoloutey the best auto mechanic I have ever seen. You could see the ASE L-1 Master technian work on the monitor conveniently in the waiting area. After I took my car to Midtown, he explained to me in detail and Mikey's suggestion cured the problem. The car is a friend of mine and her car still drives great after a year. I usually do not get impressed from an auto mechanic facility, but this place really knows how to repair cars. Mikey has told me that there was NOT a problem with a car that he couln't figure out so far, his been doing this over a decade. When I arrived to his shop that he had a lots of work load, but he was accomadating. He was very patient in person and explains so well. I have so many customer in auto repair and dealers, but this shop has the most high tech tools i ever seen.
