Mia Bella on Main has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. I usually visit for lunch and weekend brunch, but the other night my husband and I were downtown so we decided to have dinner there. I remember why this is my favorite restaurant. We had the special, beef tenderloin severed with asparagus over mushroom risotto topped with two jumbo shrimp and a demi-glaze. OMG - the flavor combination was perfection. The beef tenderloin was done to order and melted in your mouth. The creaminess of the rice was amazing and complemented the meal beautify. The asparagus was not over cooked or under cooked and the firmness was a great contrast to the rice. But most of all - this executive chef has a real gift for sauces. I have been going to Mia Bella downtown for many years and in that time I can tell you that I have had a few times where I have complained the management. I have found them always to be attentive and quickly resolved any issue that I have had. The prices are reasonable and service is very good.

Would I recommend - YES and I have!

Thank you ending my birthday on a sour note.. I had been a customer of Mia Bella Trattoria previously and I had always enjoyed their food. As a result, I decided to host my birthday party there.

I hosted approximately 19 people and they assigned me one server for the whole party. I am of Spanish descent and when I tried to communicate with the server in his native tongue (due to the fact his English was not very comprehensible), he kept on responding in English and appeared offended that I would even dare talk to him in Spanish despite 50% of the party being Spanish speaking (I thought servers were supposed to be cordial, friendly, engaging and most importantly please the clientele). In addition, he did not crack a smile throughout the service.

While I was still half way through my main course, the server in question reached out to me and insisted that he needed to settle the checks......I told him politely once to let me eat in peace…and I would deal with it as soon as I was done eating. Subsequently he proceeded to insist (on my own birthday) again whilst I was still eating. I answered sharply to address the issue after I was done eating. He proceeded to bother my other guests whilst they were still eating. When I went to complain to the manager (the manager took a cavalier approach and told me that he had ordered his staff to do just that...(just great I thought!)....you would think after having a disgruntled customer who brought 4 figures worth of business…that the house would even treat the birthday boy to at least one dessert (with a candle...or something...whatever) but no...they were more concerned with rushing us for the bill. It is true that there was a point to rush everybody for the bill because it took the server in question 45 minutes to settle all checks (there were 19 people...and 11 checks...) so 5 minutes per check. It is true that some of the guests had asked for their checks previously but I am sure there is a way to do this. I have to say that other guests were irritated by this too.

When I call the next day to register a complaint, I asked to speak to the owner. I was given the manager from the previous night who informed me he was the owner of the franchise. Whilst he neither abrasive nor rude, he maintained and defended his actions and the actions of his staff the previous night. Hardly a way to appease a disgruntled customer. Mr. Owner/manager, the purpose of the restaurant business is to make people happy and not to stroke your own ego!!!!!!!!!!!

Decent food but.... I had something in my water and massive cork in my wine. These things would have been visible if the server checked with a glance before serving them to me. No apologies were made. Lack of attention and service made the good food less enjoyable.

HUGE R0ACH WALKING ABOUT!!. I researched many restaurants for my anniversary, and decided to go to Mia Bella. Worst mistake! We were seated right away and everything was going fine. The place itself needs some help though, the walls were chipped, the wooden floor was uneven, and the place just looked very old. Not elegant at all. We received our food, but it wasn't what I expected. It just didn't taste good. All of a sudden I see this huge r0ach, the size of a finger, just walking about. Boy did that take away my apetite. I could see the gross r0ach flap its wings around some woman's shoe, but I don't think she noticed. We finally got the waiter's attention, and all he did was get sweaty and nervous, and try to follow the r0ach. After a while we saw the manager stepping on the r0ach, but acting as if he was taking a step forward to attend a customer in front of him. In a way it was kind of funny. After not finishing our dinner we decide to take a couple of creme brulee's home, since I had heard that they were all they rave. They splatted them on a large alluminum plate, and they just looked like fat. When I got home I thought maybe they'll taste good, but no. I couldn't even eat them. They tasted burnt, and like metal. I definitely would never go back there again, and would never recommend it either!

WORST SERVICE!. I keep trying to give this place another chance, but each and every time their RUDE servers ruin the dining experience for me. And when I ordered a to go meal, they put the COLD salad with the HOT sandwich and didn't even make the salad I ordered. When I explained this to them, they simply didn't care. I even made a complaint on their website and never received any acknowledgment. I will no longer waste my money for a restaurant that obviously doesn't care if I enjoy my dining experience with them.

Great food, great price, great service. Excellent. We have never had bad food or service. Besides, great pricing for the quality of food. Menu suggestions, any. All friends and families that had dinner with us at Mia Bella had excellent reviews. Not one had any negative comments. We love it! It's a must.

The Brunch Menu- Great food, Great Value for Money. Brunch at Mia Bella- This week I tired there cooked to order brunch! At first I did not want to try it because it is not known for its brunch menu however I thought I would explore the menu. I tried there omelette and it was very good, it came with fresh fruit and roasted potatoes! Only $6.95! Not bad for being on Main street in downtown. I have to say, very good. I then also ordered the pancakes, the manager Jenny told me they were amazing, so I just had to try them. They were amazing, she was right! It came with strawberries. I would come back for brunch every sunday, there brunch menu is served until 3pm every sunday! The prices are very reasonable for brunch also.

Great specials everynight, excellent customer service. Mia Bella is where we always go to celebrate special occasions and it's still the best! Service is outsdanding and the food is always delicious. Everything we have tried has been outsdanding. Try anything and everything!!!!!!!! This where to go when you want a truly special evening. Must try tiramisu for dessert.

Great Customer Service. The Customer service was great. The wait staff knew menu and were very informative. Tony was a great waiter refilled our drinks and was very attentive after we gout our food. Highly recommended but do make a reservation just to be sure you get seated quickly.
