Good Reputation...Not very good food

Came here for lunch w/ reservation. They ran out of lots of side dishes that we wanted to order like rice. I was one of the few people that got the last bits of rice and it was dry and hard. Food came out cold. I would definitely like to try this type of food again, however, I don't recommend coming to this restaurant.

The food is excellent! The service is fair to good. The atmosphere, however, is not conducive to conversation. Sound echos off the concrete floor, and it's hard to hear a companion across the table without raising one's voice.

What a Fusion!

Excellent service combined with food that makes your mouth water, this resturant serves some of the best food that I have had in Houston in it's price range. I'm a Louisiana native and also have had plenty of authentic Carribbean food all over the country. This food stands toe to toe with the best. I read a previous review...if you don't like this food...don't blame the chef, blame your tastebuds. Carribean/Southern food isn't for everyone but if it is for you, you will love Fusion Cafe.
