Best in Houston
by justcantthink
I've had pizza all of the Houston area and have found the best here. Whenever I have friends come into town I take them straight to Franks. Really my only complaint is the parking. But what do you expect when the place is downtown.
- Pros: Good service, great pizza
- Cons: parking
Heavenly pie!

My husband and I are downtown residents and this is our go-to place for pizza. It is always delicious and the delivery is super reliable. We are both picky when it comes to pizza and tend to disagree on which places have a better slice, but we are unanimous in our love for Frank's. It is a true downtown treasure!
- Pros: mouth-watering, decedant pizza; quick delivery
- Cons: none so far...
I could eat there every day....
by swyzlstyx
I love Frank's. Fortunately, it's a long walk, or I'd eat there every day and weigh 800 pounds. Ideally I'd like a thinner NY style pizza, but Frank's is about just right to be filling after a lots of walking downtown, on just one slice and a Lone Star longneck...what more could I want! No waiting usually, just grab a slice and go. Sit down with a beer...there's an upstairs area if the bottom is full, or just fold a slice and be on your way down the sidewalk! That's what eatin' pizza is all about for me! :)
- Pros: Great pizza, good price, good atmospere, convenient.
- Cons: No easy parking if you're driving and want to grab a slice.

every time i go out for a night out with the girls to downtown houston we HAVE to make a stop at Frank's pizza before we go home or to an after party! The service is amazing, the atmosphere is great, the people are friendly, and most of all, THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS AND SATISFING! I live for friday nights at Frank's at around 2 am! Best pizza in Houston! Try the amazing pizza rolls as well! the pizza is soft and hot. Eat Frank's, be happy!
very nice guys, very blah pizza
by ac76
We tried a large pizza with sausage, mushrooms and peppers. Although the service was very nice and friendly, we unfortunately have to say that the pizza really left something to be desired. It really didn't taste any better than a pizza at one of the national chains, which is too bad because Franks is in such a great downtown location and again, the guys were very nice. Now, in all fairness, my pizza standards are high -- I'm an Italian-American from Boston. NY style pizza should be extremely thin and the crust nice and crunchy on the outside, and this really wasn't. It wasn't the worst pizza I've ever had, but it wasn't very good either.
- Pros: great location and service
- Cons: boring pizza
