Great food. The best Chinese in the downtown area - par none! The menu has pages after pages of selections so it is good to go with friends to share different dishes

No one does Tofu like Kim Son. I seriously dont know how to explain how good this is except to say that I have taken several meat eaters here and had them try food off of my plate and everyone is amazed at how great it is.

Lots of restaraunts do Tofu, but the Tofu Delux .... I have never had it even close like that anywhere. The Spicey Orange is wonderful as well. The tastes all nearly overwhelm your mouth.

Now for my meat eater friends... once I get them in there they are hooked too. It isn in the top 3 of mine and my fiance's favorite places. Wether dressing up for date night or grabbing a quick bite on a Satruday afternoon. The service is also quick and great. It is a little bit of a drive for Lunch for us, but I can always manage to get in and out and back to the office in time.

Good reception hall. This is a good reception hall for private events. It is centraly located in Downtown Houston at the corner of Milam and Preston streets. The first floor is a huge reception hall while the other 9 levels are parking. The parking area is always protected by police officers on the weekend so your car will be protected while you attend your special function.

WORST SERVICE, WORST EXPERIENCE. I had an anniversary party here for 180 people. The service was TERRIBLE. The manager was RUDE. The air conditioner was not working. The bathroom was FILTHY. I will NEVER do business with this establishment again. I've been going here for years so naturally I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. The manager even yelled at my guests! ADVICE: Do NOT have a Banquet here.

Delectable Vietnamese fare draws hungry executives to this grandiose downtown eatery.. In Short
Palatial, neo-Chinese-style building housing a koi pond, Vietnamese art and huge banquet rooms. The astounding 13-page menu is organized with its own Dewey decimal-style numbering system, but can still be daunting. Tiny, crisp-fried Vietnamese egg rolls are a perfect start, wrapped in lettuce leaves and dipped in tangy nuoc cham sauce. Share a Vietnamese crepe with your table, some spring rolls, and a Summer Delight salad. Bun dishes are great, too--vermicelli noodles piled on lettuce and cucumber, topped with roast pork, beef, chicken or shrimp.

Good People-Good Food. The La family really cooks! They are some of the world's best human beings and have earned their success. I cannot name a favorite dish-I like many of their dishes and have never been disappointed.

Huh?. Although they serve fine food, I fail to see how Kim Son can be in the top 10 for Best Chinese Food. It is a Vietnamese restaurant.

Kim Son Addict for LIFE!. I have been coming to this restaurant for a long time and have NEVER had a bad experience. The food is amazing...hands down the best chinese food I have ever had. I come to this restaurant every chance I get...never get sick of it...gigantic menu to choose from. The dishes are huge for reasonable price in upscale atmoshpere..1 plate usually enough for 2-3 people. The staff is very friendly..great for dates or big groups. For first timers- the menu choices can be overwhelming..make sure to get spring rolls (theyre famous for them)..sizzling shrimp..sweet sensation and moo shoo are all excellent. By the way, there is NO way pf changs is better (close but no cigar).
