Home-made burgers...the way I like'em!. This place "is what it is"...it's a convenience store+deli+grill...and they make great burgers. I live in the same building, so I try not to make a habit of eating there too often...or I'd weigh 800 pounds. The burgers aren't HUGE and aren't made from Kobe beef or anything...but they are made fresh when you order, and taste great...and are exactly the way I like a burger. Add some bacon and jalapenos when you really need a fix. French fries aren't bad, either. They also make great breakfast tacos, as well as a full lunch and breakfast menu, as well as a large selection of fresh deli sandwiches. And since it's a convenience store located in an apartment building, they've got a big selection of stuff that will save you a trip to the grocery store, which is a big plus when you live downtown...especially for an evening beer run. All the people that work in the Express Grocery & Deli are always friendly, as well!
