They all must be the same. Had a similar experience at the Just Brakes on Louetta near Stubener. Spent almost $1,400 on new brakes after 50,000 miles everything failed again. They refused to honor anything under their "lifetime warranty" the manager was rude and uncaring. Had to read him the warranty, he faxed it to his regional manager who also refused. When they finally agreed to some work under the warranty, I left the the shop with faulty brakes and leaking fluid. Took it to a real mechanic and they found all kinds of problems. Avoid a brake system nightmare. Stay away from Just Brakes

Avoid Just Break @ Fuqua Street in Houston. My breaks were making Scratching sounds when I went to the dealership to get a quote. They told me the breaks are metal to metal and needs to be changed. I checked with other mechanic and they told me the same thing and gave me a slightly cheaper quote to fix the problem. Both the quotes were under $150.00 (Parts and Labor) . Somehow I end up with my neighborliness Just Break at Fuqua and there my sorry tale started. After initial diagnosis they offer me a quote of $350.0 and they told me to fix both front and back break problems with a life time warranty. Well I don't know why I accepted this. After working whole day on it before closing on Saturday they told me the problem has been fixed. I made the payment after an 5 minutes test drive. But the sound came back again after 30 minutes of driving. When I took it to them on Monday they worked 2 hours on it and returned it to me saying that the problem is fixed. I asked the guy to sit with me and take a round. No surprise! the problem was still there. The funny guy swears that he test drove it for 2 miles on freeway and wasn't hear any noise. They worked on it again, Charged me $250 more for Labor and some other parts and gave it back o me. After 3 weeks of driving the car is again starting to making the noise again. I am now stuck with this car and looking to Trade it in with a new car. The Single star rating is the worst I can give on the city search but whoever read this just think off the worst rating possible for these guys.

kind of shady.... I went in to get my brake pads and shoes replaced. They inspected my car and said that my calipers needed to be redone. The pads and shoes would be free (since i had gotten them there previously) but the calipers were about $400.

I was not convinced so I went to get a second opinion. I took the car to another shop and on the way my caliper bolt snapped. The very nice mechanic at the other shop told me that my bolts had been tightened too much. There was also nothing wrong with my calipers. Apparently Just Brakes lures you in with cheap brake jobs and tries to upsell the calipers. I would probably stay away.

Horrible..... DO NOT----DO NOT VISIT THIS STORE--- You will inevitably wind up taking your vehicle to another place THAT WILL ACTUALLY FIX YOUR BRAKES. They are incompetent, disrespectful and virtually have no clue as to what they are doing. They take advantage of women and are terribly rude. WORST experience. BEYOND TERRIBLE. After 2 visits, they still did not repair my brakes. And then they want to look at me as if I am in the wrong. This place is a joke. Go if you want to waste time, money and lots of tylenol. Manager and employees are all a-typical "men" in their industry. Can we scratch our heads some more?

They may have more success at juggling parts rather than actually putting them to use. CANNOT trust them with your vehicle. They have no idea what they are doing. Not one coherent idea. Just take your vehicle to someone who will actually fix it... and not give you a hard time.

Thieves!. I went there for their $99.95 brake special, but upon "inspection" of my car and brake system, they wanted to charge me well over $1000.00! I told them that was way too much, but they somehow found a way to drop the price around $400.00. I told them that was still ridiculous, and the guy asked me "how much I was working with". Not only was it rude, but extremely unprofessional. I took my car to a mom & pop place around the corner--they told me the only thing wrong was the worn pads, which they would replace for $140.00. Guess who I gave my business to???

Poor Customer Service!. Everytime i call here to make an appointment i am so thrown off by the way they anser the phone. they demand to know whos calling the minute they answer the phone. very rude, and unexpected. i'm guessing they would like to downsize their business, obviously they dont care how they treat potential new customers. made me feel weird about calling them. never again, id rather go to jiffy lube
