Houston >La Quinta Inn Houston Northwest
Bad Plumbing + Rude Staff = Unhappy Guest. The room itself was a mediocre, run-of-the-mill hotel room. Sheets were itchy, air conditioner smelled very stale, but it was a place to sleep at night. I stayed a week on business and from the moment I first used the bathroom I was very unhappy. The toilet refused to flush on a consistent basis and the tub would fill as I showered. One morning as I finished my shower at 6:00 am and went to step out of the tub, I discovered the toilet had flooded both the bathroom and vanity area quite significantly. I had to save one towel for myself and try to make a path for me to walk with the rest. I immediately called to the front desk and described the problem. I was told that I could walk down to the office and get them or they would bring me more towels at 9 o' clock. He claimed to have a customer in front of him checking out and guests in the breakfast area that would have to be attended to. He wasn't able to walk outside at all (not even to a first floor room that was mere feet from the lobby back door). I hurried to be able to walk outside of the room to get the towels as I was on a schedule and needed to leave the room shortly for the day. As soon as I opened my door I saw the gentleman (that claimed he could not walk outside for any reason) standing on the side of the building (with no windows to even see the front counter). He did not even move towards the inside until I got to the lobby door and when I asked him again for towels for the flooded floor, he handed 3 (one hand towel, one small floor towel, and one regular towel). He wasn't "allowed" to hand out any more for a single guest room. That same evening when I returned to the hotel, only the vanity and bathroom floor had been cleaned, none of the other appropriate servicing to the trashcans, counter tops or bed had been done what-so-ever. I will never stay at this Baymont Inn again on any trip back to Houston, and I recommend you don't as well.

:( The worst!!. Hum where do i even begin, as soon as opened the door we were greeted by a horrendous odor. It was a blend of musky mold and cigarette smoke maybe even some illegal substances. Then two big ole beetles attacked us which we tried to flush but the toilet didnt work. So we said lets get outta here and go out to eat but while plugging in my curling iron I was stunned to see a row of fake eyelashes stuck to the wall. When we finally made it out we took the smell of the baymont everywhere we went . :( To make matters worse when we checked out we realized that we had been charged twice to our credit card for but didnt get reimbursed until two days later because their computors were "down" hummmmm how do they conduct business ! P.s. Dont stay here unless youre a crackhead.
