Really Big Suites.
Stayed here after a trip to New Orleans on the way back to Sante Fe. The hotel is nice and they give you a cookie when you check in - it was great, so it must be full of fat and calories :). The swimming pool was clean and not too crowded. We had a stove / fridge in the suite and so were able to cook for ourselves one night - it saved alot of $$ on dinner. I will definately stay again if I come to Houston - it's also right by the mall.

Luxury beds and deluxe amenities help business folks and families sleep well at this comfortable mid-level chain..
In Short
Warm chocolate chip cookies greet every guest at this Hilton-owned hotel, a friendly touch that fits in with the hotel's business-casual attitude. Another way Doubletree helps its guests relax is the Sweet Dreams bed, which features a pillow-top mattress, high thread-count linens, down comforters and lots of jumbo pillows. Amenities also include high-speed Internet access, in-room coffeemaker and complimentary newspaper; properties also typically feature a swimming pool, a fitness center and a range of meeting facilities.
