The worst I've ever had. Visited early one Sunday afternoon. They were out of beef fajitas!!!! Can you believe that?? I got chicken fajitas that were tough and dry; the chips and salsa was hardly any better. I could not believe this place was so bad. We will never go back.
Cool.
Sorry guys gringos do not know what real Mexican is, go to taco bell!! This is the place to feel in Mexico!!
Great!!
I agree, avoid!.
I agree with ruggedgal. I went there because it's close to work and had a lunch buffet. One look at the buffet and I decided to get something from the menu. The prices were outrageous! Way too high for what I consider reasonable for a lunch menu. Ended up just getting the cheapest thing on the menu....Chips and queso. Had to wait about 25 minutes to be served. And the restaurant was fairly empty. Just the brave souls that were trying the buffet. The chips were thick and tough, the queso was bland.
Definitely will not be back!
Avoid this restaurant.. First off, this restaurant only allows you to valet after 7pm. You cannot self park here. Secondly, our waitress only spoke Spanish to us and we were speaking English to her. Third, I ordered a pina colada and got rum with ice. When I sent the drink back, I was informed that the bar was out of pina colada. We were given one menu for a table of 6. No silverware was on the table. Orders were not correct. We were told to sit outside because the entire inside was reserved. Our bill was not separated correctly. For being in such a prominent spot I expected top service. Unfortunately, we did not get even decent service.
Rock en Espanol and potent margaritas enliven this Galleria-area spot with straight-from-Mexico fare..
In Short
With a menu that reads like a Mexican taqueria, expect a welcome diversion from local Tex-Mex fare. Sample queso fundido, grandma's chicken soup, combo platters and Mexican-style hamburgers topped with ham, cheese or avocado. Grilled fajitas, enchiladas, tortas and traditional tacos like al pastor and grilled fish round out the menu. A DJ on Friday nights plays Spanish rock and pop while Saturdays is for live salsa music and dancing. Happy hour is daily from 4pm to 7pm.
