Just simply the best experience.
Donna Jarnigan has a magic wand and wears a magical tiara. I know. She did a marvelous job for my husband and I in 2002. She came by the house, took a few measurements, invited us to join her at a vendors show and one or two other vendor shops to get a few "ideas" about our likes and dislikes, then we left town. When we returned, the house was remodeled and redecorated beyond any of our expectations. Furthermore, she came in right on budget ... and, in fact, was below our real expectations. Donna Jarnigan made this project completely painless. That job was 8 years ago. People coming into our house continue to comment on the lovely, warm style of our home. Donna, and her loving partner Randy, are quite the team in pulling together all the right resources for maximum effect at the minimal cost. They manage a variety of sub-contractors with grace and kindness, but a tight rein. They manage without surprises or drama. Donna and Randy are true professionals. Is there anything they did that I would change or just prefer they had done differently? No. Further, even though our job ended back in 2002, Donna and Randy were front and center in 2008 when I called on them for help to modify our physical surroundings to accommodate a health crisis. They were truly earth-bound angels, that's just who they are. You will find Donna and Randy the easiest people with whom to work. It's an added bonus that they are experts in their field. Or, it could be that magical wand and tiara.

Stay far, far away.
We hired LBI for drywall and painting of the whole house. It was a big job and we felt safer going with a full contractor. They were very professional in the sales pitch presenting very detailed contracts and plans. Sadly, there was a complete lack of attention to detail once the work started. I really think the crew they used were largely people who had never worked in construction. The texture job was inconsistent and was so bad in 2 rooms they had to redo it. And I did not like that I had to point it out to the contractor. His name was on the project and I expect a little pride in your work that you would not want such substandard work to be tolerated. I am actually very easy to please so to get me to the point of complaining was one big achievement of theirs.
Overall, a lack of attention to detail, lack of oversight, and lack of common sense plagued the whole project. They actually pulled cable and wires through so that they plugs would be set at 4 feet high.
Whatever you do, do not hire them unless you like overpaying for shoddy work.
