I think Im in love – Always fast and delicious! Love the whole menu their chicken sandwiches and burgers never fail to fill me up and leave a smile on my face.
Simply nasty – Well where to start
All the people who think this place has good burgers either have no taste buds or are taking some kind of drugs to make it taste good.
This place is absolutely disguisting. Every time I have visited this place it was always dirty.
It was the first time in my life where I actually felt worse after eating than before. Even though the burger looked good from the outside it was absolutely disguisting when I tasted it. It was completely greasy and totally oversalted. The "half pound" as they say looks nasty because they completely smush the patty flat making it much bigger than the bun, well I guess its good to really taste how disguisting there cooking is without any other ingredients added. They even managed to mess up the fries and the grilled cheese. The prices are also ridiculous for the amount and quality of food you get.
Overall this place would be my choice if BK and McDonalds was closed. Maybe other Smash Burgers are good but the one at Buffalo Speedway is absolutely disguisting
Get Your Milkshake Fix – This is a milkshake where you can taste milk instead of a syrupy slush. I tried the Butterfinger shake and it was refreshing and not too sweet.
I saw some people eating a salad and a hamburger?! They must have been really hungry. The salad was a quarter of an iceberg lettuce drizzled with dressing and piled with large bacon crumbles. The burger looked divine, but I alread had my calories for the day with the shake.
The customer service was excellent. The manager, Caleb, made me my shake.
Best burgers PERIOD. – You have got to try Smash Burger. It's the best burger outside of one that you grill yourself at home. The rosemary fries are great too!
Citysearch Editorial Review – In an upscale strip center next to Buca di Beppo, this red-trimmed burger joint serves up handmade patties of 100% Angus beef, “smashed, seared and seasoned on the grill” to seal in flavor. Order at the counter and slide into the cushy bench seats to wait with your number. Seven messy but notably juicy sandwich options include the Texas, All-American, and Spicy Baja, with fresh jalapenos (those who don't eat beef can substitute chicken). Choice sides include fried veggies, haystack onions (rings), and skinny smashfries with a unique herb seasoning of rosemary, garlic and olive oil. Kids can't resist the Haagen-Dazs milkshakes while Mom and Dad have their pick of beer and wine options.
Greasy, Oily......... – Location: Westheimer/Beltway 8
We had great expectations for this burger and we know that fat = taste. However, in this particular case, there is no way you can enjoy a burger when the bun looks like it has been soaked in oil. It was even dripping....
We complained and we were told that juiciness was their trade mark...... Wow, I had no idea that juice and oil were the same. Not recommended at all.
Lankford's Grocery, Pappas Burger, Jax Grill, and even Becks Prime are much better choices.
Simply the best burger! – This is simply the best burger. Not too big, not too little. Full of flavor. I've had 'em all... but I now will politely pass on burgers at other restaurants and save my burger treat for a Smashburger visit. Glad to see them opening up all around Houston too!
