“Great Service - great food!”
“We will not be back as this place has nothing unique to offer to make it worth putting up with inattentive staff.”

Bad service, but good food at good prices.
We've given this place 4 tries now (it's so convenient after shopping at Costco!) and it's gotten better.
The service is possibly the worst problem and I agree with another reviewer that they have tons of staff but none seem to be waiters and are all stood chatting and texting. The manager, Chris, is rude and useless!!!
The first time we were fully comped as the food took forever, the order was wrong, and what we got was bad.
The second time, it took forever to get a waiter to come to the table but the guy who did look after us (from another section) was very attentive. Again, the order was wrong and we got comped for some of the meal.
Third time food was great, and all correct, but the service was still incredibly slow. It's not the waiters, its the host that doesn't appear to assign anyone and the waiters don't even realize you are there. Again, we got some free stuff and the food was very good.
Fourth time, slow to get a waiter, but I complained up front and set some expectations and we got dealt with quicker. Food was very good.
So, to summarize, the food is good. Good size portions at a reasonable price and the KIDS EAT FREE EVERYDAY is wonderful. But, and it's a major but, the service is still lousy and I feel for the waiters who seem to be very busy while there are a ton of other staff stood round chatting and texting. The manager, Chris, sucks and shouldn't be in this industry!
Horrible experience.
Having a special needs nephew in a wheel chair, we chose Juan and Lefty's because it was not crowded. There were only 3 other tables occupied. We decided the space and less noise would be better for a child with cerebral palsy. However what we experienced explained the low traffic on Mother's Day.
Huge roach on the wall. One half of the table ate their food. Then 20 minutes after they finished, the other half received their plates, with the exception of the ones that didn't get their order at all. The waitress lost a credit card of the customers near us. My nephew found it. A drink was spilled so we asked for a towel to clean his lap. We never got that towel. A plate of bean tostadas was brought instead of soft tacos. We were told they would bring out some ground beef to put on top of it!
The waitress gave the excuse that she was "caught between two tables." Have you ever known a waitress that was unable to wait on more than ONE table at a time?!
The compensation we received... we didn't have to pay for the food we didn't get, didn't order (or eat), and the stuff that came out 20 minutes after the others had eaten! The next day, I spoke with the general manager. He apologized and acknowledged the compensation was not enough. He said he would speak to the owner and see what she could do to make it right. When I spoke to the general manager, Chris, the next day, I was basically called a liar and said compensation was sufficient.
When I asked for the name of his supervisor and contact information, I was declined! He said he isn't allowed to give her contact information and doesn't know her last name! I find it hard to believe he doesn't know the name of the person that signs his check.... and he called ME a liar!
I understand people have bad days. I was willing to give them a chance to correct this. The treatment I received from Chris tells me this was not isolated. It is the way they do business.
I am on a first name basis with the wait staff of almost every restaurant in my area. I have never complained about a restaurant before. You can not imagine the treatment it took to make me write a negative review.
This was the worst treatment I have ever received at any customer service establishment.
NOT RECOMMENDED
way overstaffed and still can't get waited on!. We have given this place three chances but it's 3 strikes and you're out! It is amazing how many employees are on staff but they are all doing nothing but socializing with each other or texting on their personal cell phones. It will be interesting to see how long it will be before the doors are closed. Two of the times we went were Friday evenings between 5pm & 7pm. Both times the employees far out-numbered the patrons yet as the only 2 patrons at the bar, we constantly sat with empty glasses while the "bartender" leaned against the wall texting on his phone. There is way too much competition out there to be complacent. We will not be back as this place has nothing unique to offer to make it worth putting up with inattentive staff.
Great Service - great food!. Went on Tuesday (Free Tea Tuesday) around 8 pm (Happy Hour). Read some reviews that weren't positive, but I wanted to try it. So glad I did. Had a brand-new server who was absolutely amazing. He was courteous and attentive. The food was fast, but did not taste like it. My fajitas were perfect - not fatty or gritty at all. And my partner really enjoyed the margaritas. Will definitely eat there again and often!
Disappointment.
We had a great bar tender, who was brutally honest with us. We went against her suggestion, and tried the spinnach dip. It was honestly a bowl of spinnach, nothing else. It was like someone opened a can, dumped it, put it in the microwave, and sent out some tortilla chips.
Drinks were great, but waaay too small. I'd much rather go to Gringo's where I can get a big boy drink. This is Texas after all, a 240lb man goes through a 10oz Margarita fairly quickly.
