Average taqueria - nothing unique.
Time: Sunday afternoon. Not too busy. Food was served barely lukewarm. Service was prompt, but the table we sat at was dirty & hadn't been wiped down, even though the place wasn't busy. OK. There are a few different things on the menu, some plantain on the tacos, but nothing on the menu that said "wow." The portions are small. No free chips. There are lots of small, good restaurants in Spring Branch that serve a better value & flavor than El Rey.
