Love this place!. I have been with Marvin and David for years. (It takes a village). These guys are amazing. I love the relaxed atmosphere in the salon...no matter how busy-everyone is they always stop and speak. This place is just awesome.

Houston's Best Salon Experience. So, I just got back from Therapy Hair, getting a much needed hi-lite from Trey, and a petticure from Kim while sipping on a cappacino. Trey gave me a triple color hi-lite which was awesome but this was my first experience with Kim.....best petticure I've had which includes highend salons in NYC! Thanks Trey & Kim. See ya in 6 weeks!

Great Salon, Friendly Staff, Wonderful Experience. I have been going to David for a few years now, and he is beyond wonderful. Not only does he have AMAZING talent, but he always pays attentions and really listens to what his customers want. He asks a lot of questions about what you are looking for and changes you want (which I think is really important and unique) but will still be honest with you about what he thinks will work for you. I have honestly never had a bad experience in all the years I’ve been going to him (which is hard to say for most stylists) and I will probably never go to anyone else as long as he is around. He is also really fun and joy to be around, so I always look forward to my appointments. Luis has recently started coloring my hair and I love him as well. He is very attentive and always makes sure that you are comfortable with the color. Since going to both David and Luis I have received numerous compliments on my color and cut, and I always tell people all of the credit goes to them!



My husband started going to Kelly for his haircuts (after many bad experiences and weeks in a baseball cap) and she always does a great job as well. He likes that her cuts are always consistent and grow out well. She is really talented and a great addition to their team.

As for the rest of the support team at Therapy Hair Studio, everyone is always super friendly and helpful. You can tell that they value customer service and even though they cater to high-end clientele, the staff is never pretentious or snooty. It’s definitely an environment where you can tell that all of the people working there actually like each other and enjoy working together (which is certainly not true in other high end salons I’ve experienced). Overall, I look forward to going there , I enjoy being around the people that work there, and I feel fabulous when I leave. What more could you ask for?

So lucky to have Trey!. I am a professional dancer based in NYC who is addicted to Trey's styling! I have to wait for him to come visit NY, or go see him when I am touring, because I love what he does with my hair. You lucky Therapy Hair clients!

Perfect Sunny California Blonde!. Have lived in Houston since '99, and have been looking for the perfect sunny Cali blonde highlights ever since. Looking no longer - as John Spadaro is a genius! I have had complete strangers stop me and ask where I have my hair cut and highlighted... The blonde is perfect, not yellow, not white, the perfect mix of whatever it is that he does... it looks like I spend my days at Malibu. Am in my early 40's and thanks to John, I can continue to wear my hair long, as I prefer, because my hair stays healthy despite regular highlighting and whatever it is he does. The cuts are always perfect and he also trims my bangs gratis inbetween services. Plus, and this is super important, he is really funny and a great conversationalist too.

Here I come Trey!. I am soooo excited to find my fav stylist Trey Gillen is now at Therapy! i stopped by to book my next appt and get familiar with the new salon and was completely blown away! everyone was nice and very welcoming! they all seem to be very excited that Trey was there and happy to have me follow him as well! thank you Therapy, i cant wait for my appointment with Trey

Trey Gillen, great stylist from NYC. I found Trey at Urban Retreat and am glad he has moved to Therapy Hair Studio. I met Trey through a friend, and i cannot thank her enough! i love my color and cut! i have never felt or looked better and know that when i refer other friends they will be in great capable hands! Trey is attentive, fun and listens to my comments and has always given me a beautiful style.

FABULOUS Salon....great service!. THERAPY is just that......therapy for you and your hair! This comfortable, sleek and friendly salon is located at W'heimer and Yorktown, tucked behind Capital Grille. Perfect location no matter where you live. Every service, from cuts, to color, to straightening, manicure and pedicures,and make-up are all top-of-the-line. You can't find better techniques or a nicer group of people to spend your "pampering" time with...but you better book early. They are busy and the word is OUT...this is the BEST young, hip salon in town. Lots of local and national press!

More Than Five Stars !!!. I have been going to David for about 7 years now and through his hard work and Luis's there is now "Therapy" .. .... It's a small salon and with that uniqueness it allows them to make everyone feel welcome ..They listen to you, make you feel special every step of the way, and they do a wonderful job !!!

When you leave you feel happy, look great and can't wait to go back...
