The Refinery - Burgers & Whiskey

If Houston is trying to buck its reputation as oil and gas city, Refinery Burgers & Whiskey is doing nothing to help. This fossil fuel-inspired burger joint — complete with well caps and pipe fittings on the dining room wall — carries the theme throughout with pictures and paraphernalia paying homage to Texas' oil baron past. But better than the generous burgers are the spot-on whiskey drinks. There are currently 30 whiskeys available, including three Texas brands, in addition to local brews, so fill up!
