What Our Expert Scouts Are Saying

La Fisheria Seafood Mexican Cocina
Famed Mexican Chef Aquiles Chavez has been called the Anthony Bourdain of Mexico, but we like him better. His dramatic moustache and dreadlocks make his face hard to forget, but it's his food that's truly unforgettable.

With a menu based on the cuisine of Veracruz and some of the best, most attentive wait staff in town, La Fisheria is a destination for top-notch seafood.

Try the red snapper ceviche to start, and finish with the melt-in-your-mouth gourmet churros dipped in warm chocolate.

Margaritas are excellent! Service was a bit slow at the start and the entrees are a bit pricey, but the food was fresh and flavorful.

What do you get when a hip Mexican City chef opens a restaurant in H-town? Vibrant, fresh flavors, fish that tastes like the sea & elegance.
