For those of looking to satiate multiple vices at once, either because it's fun or they need a new way to disappoint their parents, there is Double Trouble. Founded by two of Houston's favorite female bartenders, "The Robins," (aka Robin Whalan and Robin Berwick), this coffee house-cum-cocktail bar is already one of the hippest spots on Main Street. The Robins worked side by side for years at Montrose's Poison Girl, and have brought the same relaxed hipster vibe to Double Trouble. Nab a glass of quality coffee from Greenway Coffee or one of their classic cocktails with a tiki twist.

Tips for Double Trouble

You can find a better bar than this. Went here last night with a group of friends. We went up to the bar to order our drinks and were told by the bartender that he was only giving us one round. This didn't make us feel welcome. I don't know why we were cut short so early, but I think it might have had to do with some racist feelings the bartender might have had. I can't think of anything else. Regardless, the staff will judge you and decide whether or not your kind is allowed to be there.
