Hay Merchant is no less than a craft beer mecca. With 85 taps – five of them cask beer – of microbrews that range from local favorites to hard-to-find imports, there's something to please everyone from the casual drinker to the cicerone. Chef Antoine Ware, formerly of French bistro Brasserie 19, compliments the beer with elevated bar food including house-made bratwurst, meat chips, fried pig ears and more. Temple to craft beer with more than 75. This is Houston's newest temple to craft beer, with more than 75 craft beers on tap, including a cask beer selection. Masterminded by Kevin Floyd of Anvil Bar and Refuge fame, you can expect beer, a great time, and a menu of beer-centric eats by chef Antoine Ware; I recommend the pig's ears, chicken liver and waffle, and meat chips.

Broadest beer menu in town plus great bites (not for calorie counters.) If you're not in the mood for beer, try the shandies with house-made lemon ginger soda.

Excellent selection of craft beer. Fantastic menu. Very knowledgable, friendly staff. One of Houston's "must go" locations for beer lovers and foodies.

The variety of beer could be. The variety of beer here could be overwhelming if it wasn't for the well trained staff but don't overlook the food, it is very tasty.

Great addition to Houston's craft beer scene. Always has a stellar, rotating beer list and delicious bar snack food. The pig ears are addictive!
