I really like this studio. The trainers are very knowledgeable and friendly. Moreover, they spend time correcting your form so that you get the most out of the exercise. The studio is very nice and clean, with a good amount of natural light. I really like that they offer fresh towels. It is a nice touch, since I am pretty forgetful. It is pricey, but it is worth it. I have issues with my flabby stomach and bad posture, so I am hoping that some time spent at this studio will help! They have a really good deal for unlimited monthly classes.
What a great workout! My muscles are really remembering it today! Neil's instructions and help is spot on!
First time here yesterday. I will definitely be back - who knew Pilates was so awesome.
I have recently discovered Green Park Pilates in Montrose and wanted to express my thanks to owner, Neil Dimmock, for being so accommodating. I discovered this fantastic studio after my physical therapy doctor suggested I take up Pilates as a means to see pain relief from arthritis in my knee. I am a 56 year old male who has always thought of myself as physically fit and very active. A lot of business travel and inability to get into the gym has left me suffering with consistent knee pain. About one month ago, I enrolled in Pilates at Green Park and have been faithfully going about 3 times a week. The results are amazing. I contribute most of this to Neil and the rigid form that he insists during each workout. He has tailored some workouts specifically to my needs with a focus on developing muscle strength around my knee. His insight and guidance have me now feeling significantly better. The personal attention and small class size will also keep me coming to class on a regular basis. I highly recommend this studio.
Green Park Pilates is fabulous! Beautiful studio and expert instruction. The workout is top notch and the studio is clean, open and inviting
Great first time Pilates experience!. I went to try out Pilates for the first time when Green Park Pilates opened in Houston and I am hooked. I am a true beginner with no real workout experience at all. I felt very at easy with instructor Neil Dimmock and felt he was great at communicating what your body should be doing/feel like with each movement. The atmosphere is very inviting/clean with lots of natural light, easy parking, and the location is not overly crowded. Being located in the Montrose section I can get from Downtown quickly and easily to take a class during my lunch break. I am also 6 months pregnant and Neil was great at altering the different movements for a pregnant lady and explaining why he was doing so.
GREAT PILATES!. I loved going to the Pilate's class last Wednesday evening. Both Kristen and Neil graciously met me as I arrived and patiently listened to my "story" of knee injuries, etc. Of course, their beautiful bodies are enough incentive to get working, but it was easy because of the personalized instruction and guidance. It is obvious how knowledgeable they are in physiology and good, safe, effective exercises and stretches. The facilities are spotless and well lighted. It was a wonderful experience, and I recommend it for anyone... young or old!
