Experience of a lifetime!. My friends and I scheduled a cruise with Sail Ventures to give the kids a sailing experience. Kids loved it!! Captain Macaluso was great. He got everybody involved and the kids got the experience of their lifetime. The boat itself was brand new and very comfortable; it even had air conditioning and a flat screen TV. Being in healthcare we (the moms) are always concerned about cleanliness and the things our kids get into. There was nothing to be concerned about in there, the boat was very clean and well maintained. It was obvious that Captain Evan loves sailing and is very knowledgeable. He kept the kid?s attention by talking to them about the local wildlife, water ways, and landmarks. I would highly recommend Sail Ventures in Kemah and Captain Evan Macaluso. This was a priceless experience that we will never forget.

Engagement Treasure Hunt Finale!. We are married now! When I was younger, I had a dream of asking my wife to marry me after a treasure hunt at the Kemah Boardwalk. I would let her know that she was the treasure the whole time. Well after finding out I could not get some one to help coordinate the water fountains, I needed to think of a special way to propose. As a result, I came across the guys at Sail Ventures and they helped me plan the last part of the treasure hunt. The last card had GSP coordinates and mentioned find docks. There, we were asked if we were looking for something, and the captain said he could take us there. So we followed him on to the ship and he took us to the the middle of the bay during the sunset. That is where she pulled a bottle from out of the water with a message in it. The letter inside told her the treasure was by my side the whole time! I got on my knees...and She said yes! Thank you to Sail Ventures for making this opportunity of a life time a success!

Female Charter. Our recent sailing adventure with Captain Evan certainly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived at the dock, finding our boat in bristol condition, to the moment of departure ( in pursuit of his recommended favorite local eatery), this pirate anticipated our every need.

Entertaining eight women, nineteen to sixty five, was no challenge for this old salt . His knowledge of local waters, charming personality and solid seamanship made Captain Jack Sparrow come to life in Galveston Bay. Providing no ordinary,"Driving Miss Daisy" cruise. Captain Evan was determined to teach, and teach he did!. Our youngest crew member learned that passing through the eye of the wind will land your T shirt in the drink if you do not pay attention; our more seasoned crew left with techniques to pivot the boat into the slip using a stern line.
