Brasserie 19 is French classism meets
modern luxury. This place is a total "seen and be seen" type of spot on most nights. They have great music, a great vibe, and excellent food. A few of our menu favorites are:
*Smoked Salmon Rillettes - Herb salad, Dijon, Baguette Toast
*Dry-Aged Rib Eye - Potato Gratin, Bone Marrow, Broccoli Rabe, Bordelaise Sauce
*Lemon Bavarian- Lemon curd, shortbeard, toasted marshmallow, berry coulis

The 63 degree Sous Vide Egg, Steak
Frites (OMG, the frites), fresher-than-fresh seafood and a value-driven wine list keep 'em coming back, week after week, to the sophisticated and chic Brasserie 19.
Finish your meal with a perfect pairing of Chef Amanda McGraw's Butterscotch Tart, with a Belgian Trappistes Rochefort beer or mixologist Joseph Stark's Royal Mission cocktail. You can never go wrong with Chef McGraw's Greyhound Slushie.

Ultimate ppl watching in. Indulge in the ultimate people-watching at Frenchie-upscale River Oaks brasserie. Fantastic oyster selection and standard brasserie fare like steak frites. Shockingly affordable wine list. Go off-menu and try one Executive Chef Amanda McGraw's daily specials or her delectable appetizer of parmesan custard with a 63 degree sous vide egg. Apple tart is scrumptious and if it's your birthday, let them know ahead of time for a cool tabel-side surprise cotton candy.

Quintessentially Houston : eclectic French in a beautiful restaurant nestled in a River Oaks strip center.

Take a break from shopping and indulge in the restaurant's outdoor seating, French appetizers and wine selection. The fries are heavenly.
What's not to love. I do lunch here 2 to 3 times a week and it's consistently wonderful.
What a delight. I had no expectations and was truly impressed with the wild salmon with quinoa. I am a picky simple person (if that is ever possible). I asked for salmon and they delivered a perfectly cooked piece of fish. The quinoa was slightly over salted but accompanied the fish well. The foie gras was fine as it should be at a French restaurant. I really like this restaurant, the atmosphere was relaxing and also easy to get to with ample parking spaces. What a pleasure.
Absolute Perfection. My husband and I have been several times. The food is divine and they actually know how to make a martini! The bar is fun to mingle and watch people! Go.
