Great Deck, Great Service, Great Fun. This bar is fantastic. They started serving food at lunch a few months ago, revamped the menu and it is pretty good. My meals always come out in about 10 minutes. The wait staff and bartenders are great at making sure I have what I want, and they are not hard to look at either. The owner is like Sam from Cheers, except uglier, a really nice guy.

Great drink specials on top of everything else and you can see why this place is starting to draw a crowd.

Prior reveiwer: don't be a hater, Sam's Boat sucks.

Worst Service Ever. My husband and I have been to this place a few times because of how close it is to our house, but every time we get the worst service ever!! Today was the last straw when we went for lunch and when we got our bill and we were overcharged. The explanation we got was that their prices have changed, but they have not yet updated their menu. We were not fully compensated for the overcharge, but I don't care for confrontation, so I just let it go. Like another reviewer stated, this place has so much potential with all of the TV's, and huge relaxing deck it truly seems like a waste. What’s funny is Sam’s boat is also in walking distance and they are always packed! The owners should take a few notes on how to run a successful business and it wouldn’t hurt to hire friendly attentive waitresses.

Review for the deck house bar and grill. I thought i found a new cool relaxed place in houston to hang with my friends on the deck. They do offer the biggest deck in houston but the service is awful! If you plan on eating expect to wait over an hour for your food and to be brought out either cold or the wrong order. Drink services is awful as well unless you are sitting at the bar which seems to be over taken by the regulars. Will not be going back! And for the big screen to watch your favorite sports....you can't even see it outside unless its dark....waste! Too bad...this place had alot of potential but needs better management and wait staff.

Houston's Best Pizza. Great new place to hang out!! The pizza is awesome and the drinks specials are great. The staff is friendly and I am never without a drink. Even the owner interacts with the patrons, it creates a very fun, party like atmosphere. The deck is huge, and we played cornhole and beer pong. Oh yeah, they have about 50 TV's and one of the is 150 inches. I can't wait to come watch some sports here!!

MY NEW FAVORITE BAR!. This place is the best new bar in the area, and a new favorite of mine! We went there with a group of friends a few weeks ago and sat on on the deck. It just has a really good vibe, and great drink specials, and was the perfect place to just hang out. We shared a pizza a little later in the evening, which hit the spot. I loved this bar and will be back! See you there

GREAT PLACE, PEOPLE AND FOOD. THIS IS THE NEATEST LITTLE BAR IN MY HOOD FOR DRINKS, FOOD AND CONVERSATION. THE OLE BOY THAT OWNS THE PLACE IS ABOUT AS PEOPLE FRIENDLY AS YOU CAN GET. YOU CAN TELL BUY THE PEEPS THAT HANG OUT THERE. THE MENU IS GOOD, DRINKS PRICES ARE BETTER THAN MOST OF THE OTHER BARS UP HERE. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO RELAX AND HAVE SOME FUN YOU NEED TO CHECK THIS JOINT OUT.
