Eddie V's rocks it out every night. Their jumbo lump cupcake is probably the best I've ever tried. There steamed Seabass rivals that of the best Chinese restaurant in town. And their steak? Try the Tomahawk. The bar is always packed, but there's ample seating for diners who wish to go it solo.
Best bathrooms: People watch at the bar and then really mingle in the restroom, where the men's and women's sinks are united.
Great restaurant, Clientelle............
Excellent restaurant, great food, always a live band.
Needs to have a two drink minimum / cover or something to keep the bar clear of the water / one -beer sipping "slugs" who hang around in droves listening to the free jazz band.
I eat out every night and it would be nice to be able to have a spot at the bar for a person like me who will acutually be having dinner and SPENDING MONEY.
When the music ends, the penniless crowd clears out and heads upstairs to haunt Saint Genevieve's...
Maybe the bar seating needs to be treated like tables: controlled by the maitre'D and wait staff. No open seating...
Ironically, the other Eddie V's in CityCenter does not seem to have this problem ???
Great happy hour, poor customer service.
This restaurant is all about the bottom line, how much money can they make. There is no importance placed on accomodating customers. Just another example about the loss of customer service in our society these days. I went to eat there on my birthday, walked into a full bar and an empty dining room. Out of all the tables in the dining section, there wasonly two tables seated. The rest were open. We arrived at 530 and were notified that the rest of the place "was reserved". The only 2 seats "left" were at the oyster bar. The bisque was disgusting, but the rest of our meal was delicious.
I tried again today to make reservations for a friend's going away party 3 and 1/2 weeks from now. (Because of the location and drinks) I was told by the reservations hostess that because I couldn't assure her that our entire party (12+) would all be eating full meals, that she couldn't give us a table. Due to the late time (7pm) the tables are only reserved for parties who will be eating full meals. I have eaten at many nice places ie: Capital Grill, Ruth Chris and Tru Lucks, but have never been treated like that. I feel like in this day and age, if I am going to spend over a $100 for dinner I would like a great customer service experience from the beginning to the end.
A nice dinner!.
My boyfriend and I went here for our early Valentine's dinner. Parking was great, since it is Valet. Service was great, and the staff were friendly. I can see they maintain the cleanliness of the place because when we finished dinner, it was also the same time when they were about to close.
Our sever was very helpful and she was a sweetheart. I would definitely go back!
Really good place to go for Happy Hour!!.
I have been a few times after work and really like Eddie V's.
When I go, we usually have wine and some bar food. The food has always been delicious and I or my friends have never complained.
It is a great place to meet interesting people and the staff are always nice and friendly.
I love the bathrooms too!!
DO NOT GO...HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. ....MUST READ BEFORE EATING THERE!!!......I went there last night with my friend to have a nice dinner and some drinks.. THats NOT AT ALL what we got.....There was sand in scallops and the steak was rough, had to drink my beer in a bottle cause they didnt have a beer mug... You call yourself a Nice resturant, I THINK NOT.... ALso the lighting in there was so dark you couldn't read the menu. The noise factor was another thing, I had to scream at my friend across the table to talk to her..... The service is horrible and cant believe that this place is a chain of Valone's...So now it's the next day and I along with my friend have FOOD POISIONING!!!....This place should be not be allowed to serve food anymore.....HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
