Life improving program.

Six weeks ago I seem to be stuck as if I was walking through Louisiana black gumbo mud. I was losing inches but I only exercising twice a week, during my Method Evolution (ME) sessions. The ME trainers were motivating, supportive and providing all the tools I needed. However I had a disinterested attitude toward working-out so within 24 hours later I had no interest in exercising or eating properly. One of the ME trainers sat me down for a little talk. I discussed that I started to workout to improve my mental health which required minimum effort and that body shaping and weight loss was lagniappe.
The ME trainer put a task to me, “Since you have achieved so much with minimum effort I want you to think about how much more you will achieve with a little more effort.”
I was contemplating the task set to me when my email dinged. It was the Pearland Best Body Challenge (PBBC) email from JC. In my younger days I was competitive when it came to physical activities. I could use PBBC as additional motivation that I needed to follow through with my training and proper eating. I signed up.
Three weeks into the challenge I was excited about exercising and I was beginning like eating vegetables, which I usually consider to evil in plant form. My co-workers noticed changes my everyday attitude and energy levels. Positive comments had me discussing new desire to lose weight and get into even better shape. The result of the first three weeks of PBBC was reward, but it made me want more.
The last three week was when my new resolve was starting to wane. I was having difficulty sticking to eating properly, and exercising seemed just too troublesome when I could just sit in front of the television. With exercise suggestions (via email and in person) from the ME crew I hung in there. I currently look forward to exercise with my ME trainer and on my own. I am still struggling with eating properly, but now I can feel the difference in my body when I fuel it with nutritious food and when I just stuff it with junk.
During the PBBC I lost nine pounds, but more importantly I was able to make through the black gumbo mud. Now I’m having fun exercising on my own and I’m exercising more often. Also on occasion, I actually crave veggies, which is still an alien urge to me. As always, I like lots of other people are ever evolving but I know thanks to PBBC and Method Evolution team I have evolved into a mentally and physically healthier person. I am indebted to Method Evolution and look forward to more challenges.

I signed up for the Pearland Best Body challenge with a few friends. I have a 10 month old baby and it's been a HUGE struggle trying to lose the weight. I lost about 30 pounds on my own with a lot of dieting and the wrong kind of exercise, but I had hit a plateau before signing up with Method Evolution. My goal during the challenge was to keep myself motivated to stay healthy (instead of getting too comfortable after losing a little bit of weight and then reverting back to old habits) and also to tone up all over (you know how those kiddos can stretch you in unforgiving places.) I've definitely achieved my goals with the help of Method Evolution! I use the workout suggestions on their blog during the week and attend a Saturday boot camp...not only has it REDUCED my workout time, it has INCREASED my workout results! I'm now doing the right type of toning exercises and my husband swears I look better than ever. I've lost about 7 pounds and gained definition all over. Method Evolution is definitely WORTH IT!
Best Workout of My Life

I started going to Method Evolution's Boot Camp over 3 years ago. I had always been active but just couldn't shake the last of the baby weight. Along with a change in my dietary intake, boot camp helped me drop that stubborn baby weight and then some. My body completely transformed, and I lost several pant sizes. After my second baby, I had 30 lbs to lose when I went back to boot camp. That baby weight is history too. My stamina and strength have increased as well. The workout is tough, and it is also a lot of fun. Each class is different, and you never know what JC has up his sleeve for that day. Method Evolution's Boot Camp is in my blood and part of my life. I can't imagine doing anything else.

The team at Method Evolution is fantastic! Each trainer is genuinely and whole-heartedly dedicated to improving the health of their clients, and the training team has gone above and beyond what a "traditional gym" typically offers. JC Guidry, Method Evolution's owner, sends regular, almost daily, emails to members with exercise tips, recipes, health updates, nutritional updates, blog updates...you name it, he's thought of it!
In addition to the training sessions, the studio offers Boot Camp sessions almost every day of the week, nutritional sessions, meal planning sessions, an onsite nutritionist, onsite child care during training sessions, and even video demonstrations on their Web site to provide clients with an array of exercises they could consider doing on their own, during their off days. While the high-intensity, 30-minute training sessions may vary by trainer in terms of training styles (e.g., type of exercises, sequence of exercises, etc.), the impact of the sessions and encouraging attitudes of the trainers are wonderfully consistent.
Not only is the team is very knowledgeable about the "science" behind health and fitness, but they are excellent at translating that knowledge into applicable sessions that are customized to the clients' needs and results-driven!
