Same day as the Denver Ladies.
Ladies I beg to differ with you I was there the same day . There were so many of you I had to fill out my paper work in the outter lobby. If anyone was
uncomfortable it was me. The Maxwello staff including Katherine was very gracious to all of us. I watched Katherine at the front desk be nothing but accommodating to all of us. I also over heard the conversation about the lady who did not have an appointment, Katherine worked very hard to fit her in to get a massage. The massage I got was great and the facial was great too I left feeling like I was on cloud nine. And as far as the wine it was very refreshing the way that it was made. I will tell all my friends about Maxwello because they are great. Sometimes we as consumers really expect more than what we want to give back. Before we throw stones we must first look at ourselves
UNPROFESSIONAL. I called to confirm an appt that was made well over a month ago & to my suprise, I was told, "We won't be here that day", so I asked "when were we put on the schedule for"? She replied, "oh, you & 2 others are scheduled for that day, but we won't be here" so I asked, "when were you going to call us"? Wow! You would think a company with any decency would go ahead and honor service for that day especially since it was for more than one person but, Maxwello Dental & Wellness (Spa) obviously doesn't care how they affect youf life & much less even knows about professionalism! This was suppose to be a reunification for my mother & I...& on top of that we have already pre-paid for the service! I would NOT recommend them to anyone, even if the service is FREE!!
False advertisement at it's best -This is not a spa.
June 15, 2011---For the individual who claims she was at the spa the same day as our group: "Obviously you must be affiliated with the spa in some way. First of all the front lobby was more professional looking than the employee break room they stuck us in, i.e. wooden chairs. I spoke with the spa months prior to our arrival and everyone was nice and friendly. Again we were told that there would be light music, mimosa's, snacks, i.e. cheese and crackers is all we would expect. Upon arrival everything seemed to be unorganized, we received hardly what was advertised. What we expected was a nice relaxing moment and the review was based on the perspective of five ladies. Yes Katherine fit our additional guest in; however, she was notified far in advance of our additional guest and said she would be able to accommodate her. Only to arrrive at the spa and have Katherine argue with her. Unprofessionalism at it's finest. Dr. Plummer is a very nice women and it was only fair for us to express the problems with her spa so that she could improve not to throw stones. I reiterate this place is not spa quality and an apology would have been more appropriate rather than some fake review in efforts to mislead other consumers."
I planned a girlfriend’s trip to Houston and decided to schedule a spa day for me and my girlfriends at Maxwello Dental & Spa . There were five of us. Initially, I purchased in advance four groupons to get a 45 minute massage and 30 minute microdermabrasion facial. I called a week prior to confirm our appointments and everything seemed to be in order. I was told to arrive early to fill out paperwork and they will be serving mimosas, light snacks and music. We arrived at our scheduled time and the outside of the building did not have the look of a spa and I was certainly hoping that this would improve once we entered the suite. As we entered the suite the front desk attendant (Katherine) did not have a people friendly attitude and appeared to be in a grumpy mood . One of the girls did not purchase the groupon but still wanted services and called in advance to be added but once we arrived it was obvious during the phone conversation there was a miscommunication between her and Katherine. She stated she was unable to fit her in and again her attitude was very unfriendly and argumentative. We were shown to a room where we were to wait to be seen for our spa services. The room was a small room with wooden chairs, plain table cover and no snacks or music. Katherine proceeded to ask if we wanted mimosas and we replied yes. She bought out what looked to be wine mixed with orange drink/sunny delight or Gatorade. She stated that the owner was out of town the weekend and they were not able to provide us with any snacks. Since there were no snacks we were offered a coupon to order pizza that we would have in turn had to pay for out of pocket. We declined and ended up going to purchase our own food and snacks. Unfortunately this place was very unorganized and unprofessional. We were never given robes to change into. The massage was not bad but it was more like a rub down and the facial was ok but we have had better, it was more like a self wash with micro beads and very little moisture. After our massages we went back to the same room to sit in hard wooden chairs. This place was in no way relaxing and not worthy to be called a spa. They should stick to dental services until they are able to capture the true ambience of a spa. Do not go to this spa unless there is some drastic improvement in the service they provide. I was truly disappointed coming from Denver on a girlfriends trip to experience such unorganized and unprofessional service.
Go somewhere else!!!. I would highly recommend that you find another spa. The visit to this spa went horribly wrong because of their mistakes and I still have yet to receive the full services that I paid for. Personally, I will spend my time and money somewhere else. I suggest you do the same.

I had a bad experience with this place due to their incorrect appointment scheduling. Even though they misscheduled my appointment date, they denied me the services I had already paid for. Since I had purchased the services through Living Socials, I had already paid in full. This spa kept my money without rendering any services.
There are so many wonderful spas in Houston with great customer service and highly equipped personnel that I suggest you go elsewhere.
Great Atmosphere, and friendly staff!. I was so surprised when I open the door and felt the atmosphere. The energy is so awesome. Relaxing. Dr. Plummer and the staff are the best. You have to check it out.
