Worth a Shot.. Totally worth a shot. Sunny is a family friend of mine and my Dad's and we spend a lot of time there. We were there since round 1. Have fun.

Reviews are about the wrong place. I was looking for a place for me and my friends to go out, and Sunny's came up. The reviews are not about Sunny's, but about Butterfly High. Obviously, Butterfly High is no longer in existance, and Sunny's is a much brighter, laid back place. It's a simple, neighborhood bar with nothing but good people and good times. The prices are great and the diverse crowd is entertaining to say the least. Anyone that wants to experience what Houston and it's locals are all about should give this place a try. I can't imagine having anything but a good time here. Sunny...all I can say is YOU and your place are amazing! Don't ever change, and hopefully reviews about what the place used to be will be removed or at least updated. My friends and I recommend this place to any and everyone!

Good Food, good music, great people. Had my younger sisters birthday party there this past weekend. Dinner at Yatra (Great food), drinks in casablanca room (250 per bottle of goose, 1 liter not the usual 750ml) and although the club was pretty much empty except for our party (35+ ppl), it was a pleasant experience. The general manager was very professional and helpful. It was a good night and we all had a good time. With the right promoter this place should do well.

Don't waste your time!. This place is HORRIBLE!!! I will NEVER go back and neither will any of my friends!! I had a party here and everything went wrong! When I walked in the door I seriously thought I was going to get shot, I'm not sure who their promoter is but the crowd was SCARY. The management and the staff are THE WORST (with the exception of the guys working the door, they are the only ones that deserve to be employed.) Not only did they make my party a COMPLETE disaster but 3 waitresses got sent home in the middle of my party so my guests had to walk out of our private room to the bar, at the nearest bar there was only one bartender and she was clearly too drunk to do her job becuase it was taking nearly 20 min. to get a drink. About an hour before the club closed I believe they fired her and she was crying hysterically and yelling at one of the other employees. Also one of the waitresses that had been sent home misplaced my friend's credit card and it took them forever to locate it. Oh, and the room that we were in had no music in it most of the time, the speakers were obviously messed up and they would play for like a random 10 to 30 seconds off and on. The only good thing I have to say is that the place is decorated well, but its unfortunate that its not living up to its potential. Seriously don't waste your time!
