worst restaurant ever. You would think by the menu, prices, location and ambiance it has a great shot. Now I know why all the others have a waiting line and this one doesn
Great Place For Romantic Dinner. Tried Samba Grill for the first time last night for Valentine’s Dinner using a Groupon. Great dining experience! We both ordered the Rodizio, there was never a lack of cuts on our plates. Bacon wrapped filet mignon, rib eye, shrimp, lamb - so much to choose from and all very delicious. Our server brought a great selection of sides and vegetables – all very tasty especially the plantains and sautéed mushrooms. The staff is very quick and attentive. Very nice spot for a romantic dinner.
Great downtown spot. I've eaten there twice, once before the theatre and once on a Sunday afternoon; both were excellent. The waitstaff is terrific, the decor is modern but warm, and the interesting food selections were quite good. One of these days, when we have some time, we'll try the churrascaria. Overall, it's MUCH better than other similarly priced options downtown.
Great Churrascaria. Great food, wine and atmosphere!! Loved the chesse rolls and Jade soup. Excellent meat selections on the churrascaria. It even includes shrimp. Even after all of that food I was tempted to try the fresh fruit tart. It was a nice light finish to the meal The staff was very attentive and am looking forward to returning soon.
Good to go for lunch. I found this restraunt very inviting with a warm atmosphere and a nice escape in the middle of my workday. Agreeing with Nikki, this restraunt strip is somewhat cursed, but this establishment is worth a visit! The food is top notch and the staff is very well informed about the menu and makes fantastic recommendations. Lunch prices allow you to eat at a reasonable $20 with tip included. The broccoli/spinach soup is 2nd to none...so wonderful! Popovers (bread) will make you want to slap your mamma twice! Check it out because I really feel that you won't be disappointed. Going back today! ;^)>
Citysearch Editorial Review. Taking up some mildly cursed restaurant real estate in downtown’s Bayou Place, Samba Grille fills the foodie void with (surprisingly affordable) Brazilian churrasco and a notable wine program. The menu centers on rodĂzio service, where servers trot around offering diners skewers of roasted meat from bacon-wrapped chicken to juicy sirloin. The prix-fixe price allows for unlimited meat consumption and a choice of solid sides, including the basket of cheesy popovers, a platter of vegetables from Peppadew peppers to fried yucca and a complex broccoli and spinach soup. The red drenched interior is modern and sultry, which makes a caipirinha at the bar and a plate of calamari an appealing option when a full on meat coma is less so.
