This place is worthless. This place needs to get service straight. We went there for the crawfish and my wife does not eat it so we order together and they bring out here food a full 15 mins before mine. I brought it up to the server and she was like well either your food was going to come out before her's or her's would becauses they come from 2 kitchens. Nevertheless my wife side the spicy chicken sandwich had less spice than a glass a milk as well when we brought it up is was ust dismissed. I will NOT go back even if they are the last people in town that have crawfish..... I would drive to LA before I would eat there again.
Great Food! Great Atmosphere!.
My husband and I just came back from visiting Houston and we were excited to try this place (because of the great reviews). Well...we were not disappointed!
In my husband's opinion....nothing beats spicy crawfish and ice cold beers! I did have a hard time eating the crawfish (my first time) so Ryan, the Manager, recommended that I tried the Seafood Courtbouillon. It was a wonderful dish! The Creole Crab Dip appetizer was yummy too!
Overall a great evening! Ryan....you rock the house!!
I've been meaning to write a review.
I have been there a few times and every time i go i tell myself i will write up a nice review for the place.
The food was great as usual, and the service was good too. Unless its crawfish season its never too busy, seems like this place is a well kept secret.
I am excited that crawfish should be in season soon so i will have to brave the crowds.
Great Food, Good Service, No Fuss. With a great staff and solid food Mardi Gras provides an authentic cajun meal at a great price. In season the boiled crawfish are excellent, and through the rest of the year the seasonal specials are pretty good as well.
Rude staff. The food was not bad, but it was not the best either. Mardi Gras restaurant was a lot better than this. I had asked the server for crawfish special with dirty rice instead of white rice. She said, "I'm sorry, but we do not allow that." I said, "Why?" She replied, "We just don't." That made me angry, but I was hungry, so I figured I would just eat what I could. It was good, but it frustrated me that I could not just have prepared dirty rice with my crawfish special. Janice my server was very rude to me I won't go there again!
GREAT food in a fun, casual, atmosphere. Wife and I ate on the patio. There was an awesome zydeco band playing called the zydeco dots. Our server was a young guy named T.J. that we had a blast with! We WILL be coming back!!! Can't wait for crawfish season!
FOOD AND STAFF. I CAME IN TO SEE THE PLACE. IT WAS GREAT ATMOSPHERE AND FRIENDLY. I LIKE THE DIFFERENT SELECTIONS THAT WAS OFFERED. MANY COMBOS TO CHOOSE FROM. THE DRINKS WERE AWESOME. GOT TO TRY THIS PLACE. OOHHH A BIG SCREEN ON THE PATIO AND SPORTS ON EVERY T.V.
Prob the best crawfish I've ever had!. I consider my self a big crawfish fan. I don't mind driving far or paying a little extra to find a good crawfish boil. I've been to MGG seven times and I have to say it's probably the best crawfish I can find around town. The service is great too! I usually don't take the time to write a review but I have to recommend this place to all. Take care
Great place for Cajun home style food!!. The seafood salads are excellent. Love the servers they are very friendly. The updated pation looks great!
Tuna Sald. Also loved the fried seafood appetizer. Especially the sweet potato fries!!
