It's sooo good in the noodle hood!.
Wow. My daughter and I had the most delicious dinner in the new Heights Jenni's Noodle House. We'd heard about their creamy red velvet and coconut cream cakes - giant pieces of moist, creamy heaven! For dinner I had the Ginger Chicken over vermicelli noodles and the best mini Vietnamese egg rolls. The food was cooked fresh to order, came out quickly and service exceptionally friendly. Cool building with a backyard patio. We love Jenni's!

It definitely is all good!.
When I drove past Jenni's new Heights location a couple of days ago I made a mental note of where it was so I could go back. Luckily I ended up right back by it for lunch time so I headed in. The restaurant is decorated with manga style characters on the outside but sparsely decorated on the inside with just a couple of nice B&W photos. I walked in and stood for a moment trying to decide if I sit or wait. A waiter soon told me that I was to grab a menu and then place my order at the counter. They have regular menus and also a flip book menu with big photos of each plate. I bravely chose from the regular menu and it didn't take long until my order was brought to me. Pineapple Ramen, Dumplings and a big glass of Vietnamese Iced Coffee. The meal was awesome! Everything was steaming hot, right out of the oven. The dumplings were really tasty and the sauce they were in didn't completely overpower the rest of the dumpling. The Pineapple Ramen came in a BIG bowl. It is Ramen noodles, sprouts, chunks of pineapple, chicken and basil. It was really a refreshing taste and a combination I've never tried before. I loved the iced coffee. Not too sweet, really cold and rich. By the time I was done I was stuffed. They have some really good looking other items on the menu as well. I'm looking forward to trying them all out.
