A fun, laid back place to chill with friends. Liberty Station feels like a Texan hang out place. It's chill, casual, unpretentious, and easy. With a covered patio filled with people having everything from random, raucous conversation, to couples on a date engaged in deep conversation, the atmosphere is spirited and fun, a good place to hang and drink beer with friends after a long day at work. Hungry patrons can usually rely on a rotating bevy of food trucks to feed them. A great low-key place to hang out on a not-so-hot-n-humid night!

This bar is just fun - there's giant Jenga, cornhole, a good vibe and a food truck parked out front every night.

Giant jenga, great draught beer, awesome cocktails, and the huge patio make for an awesome time.
This is a fun place to hang out with friends. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere. I enjoy coming here every time.
Awesome place to hang out. I love Liberty Station - seems like all ages feel welcome here and the laid back, fun vibe is welcoming to anyone. Very large outdoor area as well as inside. Just a good/relaxing/friendly type icehouse vibe. They have a full bar and great bartenders.
Loungy Ice House on Washington. This loungy bar has opened up recently and is already packed. The 20-something set didn’t have trouble finding it even though it is on the far east end of Washington Avenue almost to Houston Street. This old gas station has been set up like an ice house including garage doors over looking an outdoor patio. Even though it’s been crowded in the heat of the summer, this spot will most likely be the place to be when the weather gets a little cooler. Good place to wear your shorts and flip flops while you’re playing patio games outside. It also has a jukebox and good beer selection with about 15 different types of beer on tap. Look for the Statue of Liberty flame on the roof.
CitySearch Editorial Review. Score another one for the laid-back drinking holes on the less glitzy side of the Washington corridor. The concept of this former filling station is simple: an open-air patio bar with local craft beers like Southern Star and St. Arnold’s on tap and the full range of liquor. Exposed brick and a mint green chandelier set a cozy living room vibe inside, with the addition of a giant HD screen overhead, but most of the time crowds gravitate outdoors. On quiet weekday nights, it’s not unusual for customers to drop by in their gym clothes for a few games of beanbag toss because things are just that casual. Turns out all people need are a picnic table and a beer.
