Professional handling of cupcake delivery. Today I had my cupcakes delivered. I purchased the LivingSocial deal and was getting buyer's remorse when I started reading the bad reviews on this page.

Turns out they are changing business names to Sweet1020 (888.712.1439) which is why my email didn't go thru. I got a prompt response when i called.

I ordered 1/2 carrot cake and 1/2 yellow with chocolate frosting cupcakes. The young lady called to confirm the date and time of delivery. She was very professional and it was great customer service.

The cupcakes were great. Very moist, freshly baked, and presentable.

This small business did a great job for I"m sure is their overwhelming holiday season. I have no buyer's remorse and truly hope you all give this company a good faith effort and have patience.

Not here yet. Can I give negative stars?

It's my sister and mother's birthday and we had a deadline. It's now two hours after the deadline and I don't think they're even coming. We DID manage to get ahold of them, and they said they'd be 45 minutes late. We live about 15 minutes from the "store" so when she called at 10:20 to say she was leaving... we believed her. It's noon. My mother is too nice because I plan on giving them a piece of my mind. We missed all the things we were supposed to do for their birthday and MAY be able to make lunch. Doubtful. They ruined my mother and sister's birthday. DON'T HIRE THESE THEIVES.

Delivery was a no show. I was also a purchaser of the Living Social voucher. After reading the reviews, I should have immediately contacted Living Social for a refund. However, I decided to give them a chance and called to place my order. The lady that I spoke with was pleasant and took my order and assured me that the cupcakes would be delivered at 10:00. She also explained that they would call to confirm the day before. No call, No delivery, No cupakes. Infact, no answer when I tried to telephone and e-mail them. E-mails bounced and the voicemail box was full, so I could not even leave a message. For those of you who have the Living Social deal still, avoid the frustration and apply for a refund!

Decent But Needs Work. I also bought the Living Social voucher. When I tried the first time to contact them, the website was down and no one answered the phone. The next week the website was up on another server, so I tried again. It took a couple of messages before they responded, but the lady was super nice. She took my order and even followed up the day of the delivery to give me an approximate delivery time. The guy was pretty close to being on time, and the cupcakes looked great!. I discovered in eating them, that these little desserts were a little dry and meant to be eaten as a unit (cupcake WITH icing in every bite). I liked the Minty Fresh, but I do not think I will order again any time soon. They were too hard to get ahold of for just a dozen cupcakes. I'm not sure they would be worth the $25, but I'm glad I gave them a shot anyway.

I should have read these reviews before I ordered. I too wish I could give them less than 1 star. I ordered the cupcakes with the Living Social voucher plus 2 dozen extra for a birthday party I was hosting. They took my money through PayPal, and never showed, never called, never emailed, didn't even have the decency to return my money through PayPal! I'm in contact with Living Social to get my voucher money back, but I guess I'll have to go through the BBB to get my cash back. They are TERRIBLE to work with.

Had POSITIVE experience! Go figure!. Unlike others, I had VERY friendly punctual service. The woman on the phone couldn't have been nicer and the same with the woman who delivered (same gal?).

People need to wait after buying Living Social coupons. I waited a few months after the rush was over. They made a rookie mistake.

Given that, I would not have spent $25 for a dozen of these cupcakes, they were worth the $10 b/c they were delivered. They are tasty but they could be prettier like the high end competitors. Need to work on the frosting techniques. Also, they had to drive a LONG way to my home and the sugar sprinkles melted a bit.

I thought they were SO nice and accommodating and they have some interesting flavors I am looking forward to trying.

Worth $10 but not more.

Stay AWAY!!. If I could give this place less than a star, I would.

Like many others, I ordered a voucher from Living Social back in June. I promptly ordered the cupcakes to have delivered to my home, maybe 3 minutes away from the bakery, I live off of Weslayan. The day I was to receive the delivery, I got a call saying that the delivery had been in an auto accident and totaled the delivery truck, and that I would have to reschedule for the following day. "SURE!" I said. The following day I got another call saying that he was running behind but he would show up, he never did. When I called I left several messages, but never heard back. I finally rescheduled one last time for the following Monday, my delivery never came at the requested time. When I was finally able to speak to someone I was told that he was running behind but he would show up, she also seemed to suggest that I should reschedule for another day. I didn't, and instead called Living Social and requested a refund, which I received. I haven't used Living Social since then as well. If they do business with this type of business, makes me wonder what other crap businesses they might work with..

Refund from Living Social as well. I also ordered two vouchers from Living Social for a dozen cupcakes per voucher. We placed the order on 8/11/2010, to be delivered 9/2/2010.

I received a phone call the morning of the delivery saying there was an emergency with a child at school that needed to be addressed and that the cupcakes would be delivered later that day. Never heard back, and I also tried to contact them but no answer. Never received the cupcakes or an explanation as to why.

I read the reviews on Citysearch and promptly called Living Social and requested a refund as well. Seems as though these ladies still don't have it together and should maybe stick to being mothers/housewives.

AWESOME Cupcakes!!!. These were the best cupcakes I have ever had. I bought 2 offers from Living Social and saved them for our birthday celebration at work. Everyone loved them and kept asking for the name of the bakery. I will refer them and recommend them! Wonderful flavors - delivered rigth to the office!

I read the other posts here and checked - the company website is up now but it is under a different host. Things happen when it comes to small companies and websites so dont hold that against them. They are open for business and doing well. They sold over 2000 living social deals and have been swamped ever since! This is not a huge commercial bakery it is a small bakery - give them a try. You wont be disappointed at all.
