Delicious and hearty diner food plus organic, fresh values make this a Heights favorite. Love the never-ending cups of coffee, too.

Very Good Food, Excellent Service. We ordered (around 2:00 in the afternoon):

Turkey Club and Steak and Onions - very good

Fries - Great

Coffee - good

As noted, service was quick and very nice.

Will come back when ever we are in the area.

Bleh! Not good.. The burgers were small and tasted like meatloaf. If my kid wanted meatloaf, she would have ordered meatloaf. The chicken Sopressata was okay - but really, it just tasted like standard chicken fettuccine. Music was too loud. No booster chair for my toddler. It was overpriced. If you're single and trendy it's probably more your style. If you're a family wanting good food at a reasonable price, this isn't the place. We won't be going back.

Wet Roast Beef Debris-- Yummier than It Sounds. My table, Lola's regulars, ordered the Day-after-Thanksgiving Sandwich on January 3...it's that good.

The Wet Roast Beef Debris is Angus roast beef, and provolone served on sour dough bread, with hand- tossed fries or salad. My sister said it was delicious.

My sister ordered the Chicken Sopressata

(Sopressata salami, penne, roasted garlic, and basil cream) for a second time. She said that they changed the side-dish recipe, but it was still good.

I devoured the Chicken Fried Steak/Chicken which is marinated in buttermilk and served with red-potato mashed potatoes spiced with salty cheese, and fresh green beans.

BYOB makes the patio more festive. The patio needs ambiance especially with all the road construction on 11th and Yale.

Always great I eat here at least 3 times a week. I have a little business which is right down the street from Lola's. I don't have much time to actually eat at the restuarant but order on a regular basis to go... Great staff, recognize you and almost always know your name. I highly recommend.

A Winner in My Book. I decided to check out Lola's in the Heights for myself after reading the mediocre reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. Our table ordered Chicken Fried Chicken, Veggie Lasagna and the Roast Beef Debris sandwich. We all had a taste of each other's dish and all gave the thumbs up for all three dishes.

You better believe we'll be back to become regulars. Can't wait to try the Chicken and Waffles.

How Sad. Oh no! I was planning to text a few friends to arrange for breakfast at Lola's in the morning. I will find another restaurant after reading the previous review.

Great breakfast and burgers. Lola has great comfort food. It's not a normal diner in that you order at the counter and your food is delivered to your table, but beyond that there's no real wait service - fine with me. The Lola Burger and the Wet Roast Beef Debris sandwich are my favorites - but be hungry, they are large portions. They also serve a good breakfast - a little crowded on weekend mornings.

I've only had a problem there once and the owner was very understanding and was quick to resolve the issue. A nice addition to the Heights fare.

Citysearch Editorial Review. With two well-loved restaurants under his belt (Pink’s Pizza and Dragon Bowl), restaurateur Ken Bridge strikes again with a crowd-pleasing diner concept. Situated on a busy intersection in the Heights, the cheery, cutely retro interior is spacious and buzzing. Familiar but well-executed menu items that are varied enough to keep customers interested should be ordered at the counter. Breakfast is enjoyed all day long by late risers and sandwiches, including the ‘Day After Thanksgiving’ combo of turkey, cranberry sauce, dressing and gravy, are crave-worthy.
