This unassuming wine bar is kick back, with counter service and great patio. Hang out with a glass of wine and some of the great food developed by Chef Erin Smith.

I'm more of a social drinker, so cannot
leave serious comments on their wine list but definitely enjoyed the food.Loved the ambience, casual atmosphere and good crowd.
Saw good reviews elsewhere so took hubby on his birthday. Will love to go back with some female friends for a nice evening!

Just ok. Bad attitude. Food and wine is good, but don't expect good service. More than a few friends of ours have had real problems with this place. They argued with one saying they gave him a more expensive wine than they did. Crooks.

Loved it!. Great wine. Great food. Great music. These folks know their stuff. Will definitely go back. Order at the bar. If you love good wine and food, give it a try.

Raising the BAR.
Garden Oaks/Oak Forest has plenty of fast food and dive bars...Finally we have a place for the nights we want something nicer.
Plonk is clean (very clean), comfortable without being to trendy or fancy, and the owner/staff is clearly passionate about wine, unique beer, and great food (foodies rejoice). The crowd, which is mostly Garden Oaks/Oak Forest neighbors, is welcoming and eclectic. Whether it is date night with your sugar-momma/daddy or you just need a drink on the way home, Plonk is a great setting.
The menu changes seasonally so there are always new wines, beers, and foods to try. You should come by and visit but please keep it a secret. I want to be able to get a seat at the bar.
