It's all about the kobe beef slider..
Does Houston really need another upscale steakhouse? With all the beef and potato eaters in Houston, I say heck yeah! III Forks is a great addition to the Houston steak scene, but I actually don't go here for the steak.
I come here for the kobe beef slider, which, at $3.95 has got to be the best little burger in town. Instead of a regular bun, III forks uses a potato bread bun, and the overall effect of juicy medium rare ground kobe beef, potato bread, lettuce & tomato is a melt in your mouth sensation that has you immediately flagging the waiter for another. I was with a girlfriend and by the night was over we had each devoured 2 kobe beef sliders and were tempted to order each other! As a point of comparison, the last time i had kobe beef sliders was at L'Atelier by Joel Robuchon in Vegas (Cost, $32). At III Forks, for a mere $7.90 (1/4 the cost!) the sliders are bigger and better and worth every penny. And the best thing is this is part of their regular bar menu so you can get the sliders at this price any time.

Great Steaks and Great Times. I have been to III Forks several times in the past year. The food is always phenominal and the service and atmosphere makes each experience unique and unforgettable. I brought my wife there for her birthday as well and they made the occasion special by presenting her with a piece of their chocolate cheese cake and capturing the night with a picture they printed out and put into a card. It was a very memorable birthday.
The bartenders made our night!. My husband and I went out for dinner last weekend and decided to dine in the bar area. It was a very comfortable setting and the bartenders were so friendly. Willing to make recommendations on food and drinks. Ashley made us several rounds of drinks and each one was better than the last! Ask her to make you a martini asap! The food was great too. The salmon is perfection and the 6 cheese potatoes are amazing! A must have! They are known for their prime rib and we def know why now. Yum! The restaurant also offers wine tastings every Monday...we will surely be back for that!
Great Date Night Place.
We had awesome time, kind of last minute decision to go there. It was 10 of us, and we thought we would be waiting for a while. but got our table in 5 minutes in a very exclusive captains room. Joel our waiter was fantastic and the tomahawk ribeye is phenomenol, also get the 6 cheese potato, as described" Au gratin on steroids". Holy @#$%#@%@. Wine list was extensive and affordable. Groth for $100 cannot be beat in any steakhouse.
