I'm really surprised there aren't more ranting rave reviews for Juice Box, one of the "in" places to go for drinks and dessert on Bellaire Blvd. Skip starbucks and go to Juice Box for their fresh fruit juice! Not only does Juice Box offer hundreds of different types of fresh fruit juice drinks at an affordable price, but their Fresh Fruit Shaved Ice dessert is unparalleled in Houston - others can only imitate. You get to choose 4 different types of fresh fruit (my faves - mango, banana, strawberry, pineapple) which they pile on top of shaved ice, slather with a rich helping of condensed milk, and then top off with a scoop of creamy vanilla. I get cravings just thinking about it. This bright, clean little juice/dessert shop is definitely one of my favorite places to stop on a hot Houston day!

Do NOT get food or drink from this
place! There were ***PLASTIC WRAPS*** in my drink!!!
I don't know how much I consumed but I can still feel it in my throat. It is sickening!

Citysearch Editorial Review. Nestled in the same Chinatown shopping center as Golden Foods Supermarket, this Taiwanese juice bar is a Friday-night hot spot and the ideal ending to some nearby Korean barbeque or noodle soup. The menu is organized into "series" in which fruits including watermelon, orange and avocado are transformed into juice or smoothies, or swirled with Calpis, a milky Japanese soft drink. The smart money goes toward the shaved ice--a mountain of ice, fruit, condensed milk and a scoop of ice cream--a luscious treat large enough for three people. The cheery yellow interior makes it easy to rest your bones awhile, that is, if you can manage to snag one of the in-demand seats in the first place.
