Great place to have your hair done! I went in a couple of weeks ago and had a highlights and hair cut. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff was very friendly. My hair looks great thanks to experienced stylist! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Worst Experience Ever. Short Version:

Do not go to this spa. Staff is very rude, spa experience is only so-so. It is a waste of time and money. Houston has much, much better to offer.

Long Version:

I went here for an hour-long facial, agreeing to pay an extra $25 to upgrade the facial to include some extra serums and extractions. When I went in for the appointment, the receptionist was extremely rude. Thankfully, the facialist was already waiting for me, as the receptionist was clearly not going to help me at all. The facial was okay: for the price, I would expect at least scented steam, not to feel rushed, and for the facialist to be working on me for the full hour. Twice, she left the room (for about ten minutes each time) inexplicably. She did a pretty good job though, and I felt fairly relaxed by the end of the hour. That is, until I went to pay my bill.

Back at reception, another lady, who I believe is one of the owners, told me my bill total-- a full $30 higher than I expected. When I asked to see the breakdown, she VERY rudely told me that since I received two treatments, I would have to pay twice the gratuity. I was shocked and confused, since I had received only the hour-long facial (minus the twenty minutes the facialist disappeared), with the serum upgrade. How that warrants an additional $30 mandatory gratuity is beyond me. I was already paying extra for the serum, as well as a generous 20% gratuity (considering the service received). Another woman paying next to me overheard this exchange and commented that the bill made no sense and seemed ridiculous. The entire time I was speaking to the woman behind the desk, she was condescending, rude, and hostile. Not the way you expect to be treated as a customer, especially when your bill is so inexplicably and unexpectedly high. I paid the ridiculous bill and left, and I wouldn't go back if someone paid me.

The French Twist Has It All !. Before the Holidays, a friend recommended I stop by The French Twist for a haircut. I was amazed at the variety

of quality services they offer. While I was there I also did ALL my Holiday shopping at their Wonderful Gift Gallery & Jewelry Boutique! Ya' Gotta' Check It Out !!!

My favorite salon!. I stumbled upon this salon a few months ago and have been going back ever since, trying additional services other than hair styling becasue it is such a relaxed atmosphere and covenient location with great parking. My stylist gave me exactly the cut I wanted, not the cut she thought I should have, like I have experienced at so many other salons in the past. Their color services are top notch, I will never go anywhere else again! I have recently tried their make up services as well as a treat before going to a show and will be back to purchase more products from her soon. I highly recommend the French Twist!

Great place to relax and get a good hair styling. The place is very classy and relaxed which is a break from the loud, intense places I have been to in the past

TOTAL SALON EXPERIENCE. My husband and I always go to French Twist because their stylists are very good at what they do and we trust them. We had facials done the last we were there and we will definitely get them again!

worst ph edicet ever. i have called ther looking for daniel and i beleve i spoke to helen the owner and when i asked to make an apontment with him she told me he no longer worked ther and if i would care to go with any one eles i told her no befor i could get the rest of my words out she hung up on me i could not belve she woud do that beeing the owner and all she should have been more profesonal. i used ther other servise when i was ther the first time i went and daiel intrduced me to her she seamd nice but was i wrong she is fake nedles to say i found my wondrfull harstylest daniel he is now at URUKU salon down the streen in the randels shopping center i was so happy to have ran in to him. so if u r looking for a great place to go go to URUKU i got treated so good ther thanks
