great food. great food, ambience superb, service delightful waiter however extremely slow
blown away!.
i called in and ordered sushi for pickup, the menu i was looking thru made cafe ginger seem like a fast food sushi kind of place. when i got there to pick up and pay (they do deliver however) i was blown away how beautiful the decor was inside and how friendly and welcoming the hostess and manager were!
i mentioned i would have to come back with my partner and have dinner, that he would love this place and the hostess replied " we would love to have you and your partner here!" wow, gay friendly too! A+
New favorite sushi place in Houston!
Awesome food and decor.
I had not been here in about 3 or 4 yrs since it was called Jedit, my girlfriend and I were in the mood for some great Chinese food so I brought her here an we had an excellent diner.
The service was exceptional, thanks to Victor our server, he made sure we enjoyed every minute of our visit. The food was deliciously prepared and awesomely presented. The ambiance was nice and private. We can't wait to visit again.
Better than Qin Dynasty. I am a frequent diner at Qin Dynasty in SW Houston but have found a new place closer to home near the Heights. Their lunch combo menu, which is a bargain, not only has a greater selection than Qin Dynasty but also tastes better. That's saying a lot because QD is pretty good. BTW, I'm Chinese, so I think I have a pretty good grasp on what is good Chinese food.
Excellent!!!!!. OMG, there is nothing bad to say about this place. The food and service is always exceptional. I would eat here everyday if I could. Great lunch specials, good tea, nice decor...absolutely love the General Tso chicken but everything I have tried is good. You must eat here, this is the place to go for good Asian food.
Citysearch Editorial Review. In the Chinese-starved neighborhood of River Oaks, Cafe Ginger sates sesame chicken and hunan beef cravings in their luxe dining room with a steady takeout and delivery business on the side.
Great for vegetarians!.
food was great! plenty of
choices for vegetarians who go out with people who want great sushi! very classy ambience!
Great food, great restaurant for dates.
I had the best sushi I've had in Houston here. I can also vouch for the teriyaki chicken, calamari, and fried rice.
Mainly, this is a great date restaurant. It's beautiful inside and the service is impeccable.
Great Chinese Food!!!!!!!. Wonderful food, Beautiful restaurant, they don't use MSG. love it, will be back.
Best Chinese Food in Town. My husband and I used to eat there when the "name" was Jadeite, can't even say the name. It was expensive for a small family of two. Anyway after their ownership and menu changed, the food and the service have become better. And its better then Jadeite. My server's name was Ella she was a sweet little girl and she knows how to discribe all about Ginger Special and sea food. We order Salt and pepper prawns and beef short rib. And if you are an Asian you going to love it. This tender juicy beef shorty rib slow cook for two hours in red wine sauce. The cashier ViVi was great to us because she knows I'm a Vietnamese and she was helpful discribeing the beef short ribs. And for the manager I notice there were two and they seems so nice and talking to all the customers. We had ate at Jadeite many times before and no one seems to talking to us and always want us to order more food. We were hoping to see the owner and we want to thank him for building a wonderful restaurant. But he was not there.Over all I would love to recommend everyone to eat there. It was about $18-25 per person for dinner and $12 for lunch. Also try their wine they have a great selection of wines and a full bar.
