First time there today. I had the lunch
special spaghetti and meatball, which was very good. What I really liked was the cesaer salad was spot on and generous portion for only $1.99 more. BUT, BUT, BUT...the complementary garlic bread and marinara was TOP NOTCH!! What was best was that a man (the owner I think) came in with a bushel of, what I believe to be fresh vegitables, and asked if everything was satisfactory... how awesome is that!?
Can t wait to go back for the brick oven pizza, maybe tomorrow nights dinner :)
My Pizzeria has become an international
gathering place as well as some of the food. My wife and I were there last week and we enjoyed Guatemala night, what a feast!!!
We met there people from USA, Brazil, Honduras, Guatemala, Argentina, El Salvador, Mexico.
A great addition to their menu has been the famous "Pastels" Brazilian style...made by the owners' wife.
The best pizza in Houston!!!!!.
I have been at My Pizzeria 4 times in the last two weeks, every time I tasted something different and every time is just as good. One of the times, I could not make up my mind what I wanted and Fabio the owner told," invent something", we'll make it for you, so I did. It came out great.
I am planning to go back and take my friends too.
The TRUE Real Truth.
My Pizzeria has a great atmosphere, fast service, friendly people, and AMAZING food. Dominic's Pie is our favorite and never fails. It is truly the best pizza I have had in this side of Houston. When the owner changed a year ago, the recipe got even better!
The people are amazing and will treat you like family. The owner Fabio has a great personality and the cooks, George and Mayola, will come out and say hi to the people.
The 3 negative reviews come from people affiliated with Guidos down the street, since I know both owners. Notice how the dates are close. And why do they bash the owner more than they bash the pizza? I am not going to bash their business, but if you would like to truly believe My Pizzeria stole their recipe, try both places and I guarantee you will be back at My Pizzeria.
Not Good. After waiting 45 min ,my calzone was burned!! They said it was suppose to be that way. The cook offered to make another one, I said no way and NO thank you.. I can't believe they had the nerve to serve it that way in the first place. There are better pizza places in the area. I won't be back..
Former flea market vendor runs pizza place!.
Having no experience in cooking but selling secondhand goods now selling you pizza which recipe was stolen from the great restaurant down the street.
Never eat at my pizzeria place, don`t support people who has no respect for others!
The Real Truth. People need to learn the truth about this place... They took the pizza cooks from a local pizza place right down the street near Vintage and copied the recipe they are using here., This goes to show that the owner from this place has no restaurant experience or knowledge about New York Style pizza; at the same time, it is not ethical to conduct business this way.
Pretty Good.
This place makes a pretty good pie but the cheese keeps it from being worth going back for more. The sausges flavor does not stand out as excellent as well.
I would go back if I was in the neighborhood but I am a native Chicago guy and am very picky when it comes to pizza.
Fantastic Pizza. I grew up in the Northeast and we search regularly for good pizza here in TX. Now we've found it, just a stone's throw from home. They seem to have gotten the recipe right for just about everything. We've had their regular cheese, pepperoni, a vegetarian pizza and the Dominic. Believe it or not, a good cheese pizza can be hard to make, but these guys have it perfect. Don't expect Chicago style here, this is true East Coast (NY, NJ) thin crust (not cracker) pizza. Staff is friendly and helpful and pizza is ready when they say it's ready. The restaurant itself is spotless, has plenty of seating, it's easy to find and there's plenty of parking.
Best Pizza I Ever Had!!!.
I thought I'd try out the new pizza place in town and I'm so glad I did. I was suprised of how pretty it was when I walked in. I ordered the My Special, which was their "everything" pizza.
The staff was really friendly and I got to watch them toss my pizza around and finish it in a wood burning oven. The taste was fantastic. Everything was exploding with flavor. I will definitly be back for more!
