I have been bringing my cars here for about 20 years. The 1st time I was in my early 20's and was living away from home and my dad's help and his repair man. My female professor recommended their service and I have been a loyal customer ever since. They not only give great service, but they're honest.

We have sometimes gone over there expecting a major bill, when in fact they found it was an easy fix, and a small bill was the result. They explain all very carefully, show you the problem parts, give you detailed estimates and can even prioritize repairs( having an old car now, I appreciate this latter).

As a women, I am always treated with respect and courtesy by everyone there, and can always count on them not trying to take advantage. Today, I was pleasantly surprised when after a minute, and a little adjustment of the windshield wipers by the owner Bobby Harness, a major problem was cleared up that was posing a danger when I drove. And he didn't charge me a thing.

I'm not alone in my positive review- the place is always full, though they always give prompt service. If you value these attributes, use this service.

I trust this place & love their service. These guys always have the best service, they make it convenient with keeping an open schedule & they even have courtesy shuttle service. I've been a loyal customer & will remain one because they don't sell me things I do not need. Thanks Chris & John!

Wouldn't take our cars anywhere else in Clear Lake!. I'm not a spammer -- I'm a real person and my husband and I have been taking our cars to John at Goodyear since we moved here in 2009. John's honesty and integrity are UNBEATABLE, and his estimates are always spot on. If you think you can't trust a mechanic, think again... John takes great care of our cars and we are more than customers to him. Go see for yourself -- I'll bet you'll be writing the same thing as I did soon!

Fake Reviews!!!. Used them before bad experience!!! Don't go by the reviews, funny how all the bad reviews are checked off and the good reviews same people are on Google and Yahoo quoting the exact same things saying how great they were!! You've been warned!!

Excellent Service!. I know, having to get my car serviced at anytime is never good news...I don't like spending money on my car but I know it has to be serviced to keep it running so I don't get stranded somewhere. I have had excellent, professional service everytime I had my car serviced at Clear Lake Auto Service! There have been times when I thought I needed more work done but to my suprise, they found out it was actually nothing but an adjustment that had to be made instead of something major! Being a female, it is sometimes difficult to find a place that won't take advantage of females in that they think we know nothing about cars, which is not true in my case. This place takes care of us and does not rip us off :0) Oh, did I mention that they let me borrow one of their cars so I could shop in the area while my car was being worked on? They called me when my car was done , rotated my tires for me since I told them I was going on a trip the following day and washed me car...for free :0) Thanks for all your help! (Oh, I had a hard time finding this place the first time...it is on hwy 3 just behind the old Randalls or now Foodtown.)

fast service. I work and go to school so when my car broke down i needed it fixed in a hurry. The car was towed in late in the afternoon and by lunchtime the next day it was ready. Thanks! Telling my friends and family about you guys.

Great place, great service!!. When i needed my water pump replaced on my F150 i had been calling around diff shops for prices. I talked to 1 of there service writers who explained to me that it would be best if i brought the truck to the shop for them to look at to verify the pump was bad and also if it needed any other services. After they had looked it over and explained what they had found,they gave me a ride home, fixed my truck,then picked me back up all in the same day! I also found they had it washed and vacuumed...pretty cool. Thanks guys!

Reliable Auto Service. I was referred to clear lake auto by two different friends about eight years ago after having used many other dissatisfying local shops and I can honestly say Clear Lake Auto’s lower rates for a higher caliber of labor and knowledge are unbeatable. Now, I take both of my own vehicles and have referred them to all of my family and friends. I worked in a chain auto repair shop as an auto tech for 2 years and recognize Clear lake Auto on a much higher level of professionalism an more innovative thinking. I strongly recommend that if you have a problem with your car, or are weary of an estimate from a different shop, to swing by Clear lake auto and talk to Chris, John, Robert, or Bobby.

competent, honest & friendly. I have been using Clear Lake Auto for almost five years to service my wide variety of autos. They include vintage Olds 442, Lincoln Mark 111, T-Bird, MG Midget and a modern Mercedes SL. Over the years they have successfully met many challenges, some of which were most interesting. They work as a well-oiled team. They fix what need to be fixed with no boondogles. Over the years [ I am 66] I have used many auto mechanics. I rate them an overall A Plus.
