LAZIEST DOG GROOMING PLACE. It was my first experience going to a PetsMart grooming salon. I was desperate and now I know why I use a private groomer. I have a 6lb toy poodle. Her hair is INCREDIBLY curly and yes I was late getting her groomed. When I got there the girl made me feel like a bad mother talking about how matted she was. Yes she had matts but for god sakes shes a toy poodle with a jerry curl as her coat. It's also nearly impossible to brush her sometimes. She then had me sign a matted form not really explaining what it is they do when you sign that form. I was on a time crunch and that is totally my fault for not asking more questions. When I picked my dog up she looked basically scalped. Instead of shaving her down to a 2 guard and combing her out they used no guard. They aslo completely shaved her ears as well. She's licking and biting at her skin because shes itchy and can't stop shaking her head every five minutes because they itch as well. Different dogs require different ways to groom PetsMart grooming is like a Supercuts for animals. STAY AWAY.
