A model of poor customer service!.
I called HPB to let them that I had several medium size boxes of books to sell. They indicated that this was a lot of books to process so to come into the store at a particular time when they had sufficient staff to quickly handle the large amount of books. So...I did!
As I sat waiting for my books to be processed, I overheard the clerk who was processing my books tell one customer after another, how they would have to wait a long time because somebody decided to bring many boxes of books all at once. He made sure to let every single customer who was trying to sell their own books know that this customer (me) was delaying everyone else.

Great books at an even better price!.
After having discovered Half Price Books, I will never to go to a regular bookstore again! The prices are incredible, and they have everything under the sun.
The downside is, if you want a book that has recently come out, you are not likely to find it here. Also, I sold a bunch of books back and was disappointed by the rate they bought them at.
