Katy Grand Parkway Chili's Allows Smoking?!?!?. Being new to Katy I was surprised to find that they allow smoking in this restaurant. Katy is such a family centric place I do not understand how this location and Katy in general allows smoking in public places. Food was about average for a Chili's. Please ban smoking at this restaurant and you'll get my business and a new 5 star review!

horrible service.
this was my last straw with Chili's. I had a horrible experience the first time I went there and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try it again.
The first time I went to this Chili's location I went with a friend for lunch. It wasn't busy yet you could tell our waiter felt swamped. First off, he didn't greet us yet had another waitress come take our drink order. After a while he finally came back to get our lunch order.
I ordered the soup and salad lunch combo and my friend ordered chicken crispers. Quick easy order right? WRONG.
after waiting for over an HOUR we finally got the manager (because our waiter was nowhere in sight) and asked what was taking so long????
Our food finally got to us and the manager even threw in free dessert. the only plus to that visit.
Okay so this visit (May 22, 2010) I decided to go in and order a salad to go. I go into the TO-GO area and there is not a soul in sight. I'm pacing around looking at the menu thinking someone would recognize me and help me. I finally go to the bar where a girl is working away on doing inventory and does not even glance at me...acts as if I am simply invisible. I finally asked a waitress clear across the room if someone was working in the to go area. she got somebody over there and i got my order taken.
I was told my order would take 12 minutes.
25 minutes later it was finally ready and the manager had to fetch my salad for me.
This place is such a huge disappointment. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.
