The BBB will take care of this: And this is the BBB response to all these lies and after a month of having to leave this review hurting my business. The truth have prevail. "The company responded to the complaint(s) addressing the disputed issues and exhibiting a good faith effort to resolve the complaint satisfactorily."
Waste of time and money – Do not waste your time or money at what they claim to be a "business"... I signed my children up to take classes over the phone (since the shop seems to be closed all the time), they went and really enjoyed the chef. I signed them up for more classes..This is where it all went bad. The chef walked out on the owner leaving her to close the store WITHOUT notifying any of her customers! She did not have a replacement chef nor did she call any of her customers to tell them that she had to close the store until she could find a replacement. I found this out because we had to track her down.. She finally hired a new chef and my children attended one class and decided they were not crazy about him. They had to miss the next three classes...we found out, we were CHARGED for them anyway!! We were even charged for the day she closed the shop! When I asked the owner about this she says that her attendance sheet showed them there... that is impossible because we were out of town on a family emergency! She then admitted that they did miss a class but since I did not call her...we were charged for them anyway! Never did they tell us this (nor did we get anything in writing) when we started the first set of classes but the owner told me she assumed I knew this because this is the way other business' run... It is important to note that she does not operate during the hours she specifies as these change too... again she closed the store and changed the class to a different day WITHOUT contacting her customers. She also has a problem with phone contact as she prefers all communication by email.... She will not call you if you have a problem. I say avoid this place at all costs.....
Now in your reply you say that my children "attended the classes".. They did not in fact attend those classes as they were with me. Did you perhaps have them initial the attendance sheet on those days? NO you did not..nor did you ever ask the new chef if they in fact attended.. I am not "looking to get money money from you.." YOU seem to have mastered that art... I simply asked for a refund for the classes my children did not attend...I suggest in the future you advise your new customers (God help them) that they must attend the classes consecutively or notify the chef that they will not be attending the next class as this would have been useful to me to learn FROM THE BEGINNING.... I thought I was very understanding of your situation when your chef walked out on you...when you apologized for not notifying us that you closed your shop after your customers were sitting outside wondering what happened... I don't think I was compensated for that wasted trip... I simply stated that you run a poor business... I hope that you learn from this experience....
