Best Brewery In Texas. There are several breweries in Texas, but none have been unashamedly "craft" like Southern Star Brewery.

It's first offering "Pine Belt Pale Ale" did not apologize for its bold, in your face hops profile and announced to the world (and more importantly . . . to Texas) that they were not afraid to have original and unique flavors.

My personal favorite is their "Buried Hatchet Stout", which at 8% ABV goes down dangerously smooth. My friend has dubbed it as "Black Crack".

You are most likely to find their "Bombshell Blonde" in the stores, a great "gateway drug" beer for those newer to craft beer . . .an easy drinking light summer ale that is perfect on a hot summer day.
